Nyah, it's sometimes irritating or frustrating, since, you know, the singers I love, like Utada, Namie-chan and Kokia-sama can sing SO HIGH! And I don't hear **** then XD
It's like they go quieter when they sing higher for me ^^; (yeah, that's weird, I know)

Buuuuuut most of times I can make up for myself how the note sounds like, or otherwise I'll just turn up the volume!
I just can't hear Kokia's version of Ave Maria, that's like, SUPER high and she sings very quiet and I upset people when I turn the volume higher x3

It is a marvellous album. One of her best. Although every album of KOKIA is different, so you cannot say REAL WOLRD is worse than this, but I think I enjoy much more moment than REAL WORLD. Well, damn it, moment it's better!!!

It's like the songs I had been waiting for, I have them here.

Sora de tsunagatteru, track 8, if it was released by another artist, it would get top charts, and sell thousands of copies, but because it's KOKIA... it's a pity.

Maybe, I'll be the only person who don't like the album.
I finally listen to it & I think it's dull. All the songs are similar & you can find that kind of songs everywhere in her discography. I'm disappointed.

This time I just can disagree. I looooove the album, except for daijobu daijobu, I must admist it's boring, but except for that one, albus is the choicest!

edit: Btw, a sad info, KOKIA's recovering from her throat, she lost her voice... she's under treatment, she had to cancel several shows. I hope she get well soon, please, send her your energy!!! It's a good way to collect all her anime singles in one of them. I only have KARMA single, and some of the other songs are only sold on amazon jp, so I think it's a good idea, provided that they sell it on cdjapan/yesasia.

To me, her 2011 album is moment, but, if she releases some anime stuff, I will welcome it! (And it's a different label, she didn't release anything with them before)

I just discovered her after a friend send me a song of her. She's amazing @_@ I've been listening to her all weekend.

I have been listening to KOKIA more and more and watching her live concerts on Youtube. My god that girl is increadible. I love how simple, down to earth she is on stage, always barefeet and nicelly dressed, no pompastic shows just pure beauty of the voice and emotion. Also i love how she's not into your face aka no magz no adds.

After listening to her live performances I alctually don't want to listen to the studio versions. She just sounds so incredibly beautiful live, i could listen to her the whole day. ♥

I recently bought KOKIA AKIKO and I'm back to being obsessed with Hanataba. That entire album is a jewel.

I live for that vocalization at 4:34 leading into the final choruses and just how into it she gets. So much freaking passion. You can tell near the last 'lalalas' she strains her voice but it still sounds so good!!!

My brother lives on that side of the States (actually he's in Boston, but he and his girlfriend were visiting her parents in NC when they heard the news of the storms coming) and I know just how destructive/devastating it was. I actually did not evacuate so I got to watch and listen to the hurricane as it passed. Spent about a day and a half without power and cleaning up tree limbs. Life was pretty much back to normal in time for the work week. Other areas close to me are still recovering (one town just started letting their residents return today!). I was nervous at first due to past experiences with hurricanes but I am ok now.

Currently listening to COLOR OF LIFE. I am guessing that is a live album and she sounds fabulous. Her voice has this light yet powerful quality to it. I wonder what her vocal range is.

Oh God, I just realized how much I'd love a duet from them. Anyway, if you listen to her do some of the opera songs, then you can really get a guess of how high and low she can go. If I remember that's what she primarily studied, so you know her singing range is off the charts.

For a long, long time my all time favorite Japanese song was Mai Kuraki's Secret of My Heart, for reasons that are too boring to disclose here. But I was looking for new music to listen to on youtube, typed in something like 'Beautiful Japanese Music' and that popped up and oh my gaaawd, Secret of My Heart fell down to second place immediately.

Came to AHS found her discography (Thank God for Tomoyo xD) and downloaded pretty much everything right there and then. Battle of Destiny is a close second, though. Follow the Nightingale. Ah, I figured it was for a video game or an anime but, you know, with Kokia, you never know. I mean, we're talking about a girl who codes her lyrics (putting Japanese backwards in Chouwa, counting the numbers to spell out 'Cyouwa', or the jumble of Japanese she uses for Follow The Nightingale).
