I agree with brand new love, they look normal to me, Bom and Dara are just true natural beauties.

The big deal is that they released these pictures purposely for a reason. They sat down, and decided this is a good idea and then made time for this. Not to mention that we've seen pictures of them without make up on and they don't look that bad. So either they made them look uglier here with photoshop or bad lighting or they were wearing minimal makeup there.
Maybe it's their way of proving that 2ne1 is a group that has talent and doesn't rely on their looks to get them by. Or that looks don't equal charisma or something like that. Though it wasn't a major issue before so it must be for the publicity. Kind of sad really. Release ugly, unmade up pictures to get more publicity. Unnecessary publicity at that. 2ne1 didn't need it. I Don't Care is causing more than enough pictures. How were these pictures released anyway?

i don't think they were supposed to be released. they just popped up out of nowhere, which is why a lot of people thought they were photoshopped.

Ah okay. I thought you meant 2ne1 specifically. I can't say I noticed any really bad pictures of other celebrities. They usually wear makeup if they are going to be out especially if they have paparazzi following them around all the time Or they wear those excessively large sunglasses.

IA. I have no clue what happens to her when she preforms live with 2ne1. I've seen a couple of videos of her singing live before and she seemed strong. Maybe it's the song itself that doesn't help her.

Speaking of pre debut Bom, her cheeks aren't as large before. IDK if it's her haircut now, but her cheeks are larger now.

I don't have any trouble ignoring CL anymore. I've gotten used to looking behind her when she's doing her solos. CL just has such presence on stage. It's hard to outshine her. Minzi keeps up with CL but doesn't outshine CL. The other two are barely noticeable unless it's their turn. Then their turn is over and they disappear.

the thing about cl being in the spotlight - this is mostly yg. they do this with their groups, they did it with big bang for a while (with g-d always in the spotlight. but they've gotten better about it)

personally i love cl (but i love them all) so i don't mind her being in the spotlight. she's got great stage presence and korea seems to love her too. she's different than all the manufactured kpop stars today so.. :shrug

I agree, same goes for me. CL really has great stage presence and high self confidence. That's probably the reason she's the leader of the group, she's the one with the strongest character.

Really? You can see regularly bad photos or photos without any make up here, mostly from american or british celebs (Amy Winehouse anyone?) and it's nice to see them to be honest, so you know they're the same as you, they just have good stylists and know how to dress.^^

I was expecting more songs like Fire instead I got more songs like I Don't Care. Not too many dance tracks. It's not a bad album, but I would have preferred more Fire like songs. I like Pretty Boy and Stay Together of the new songs.

I would like 2NE1 to do one of those intros that Big Bang does. I think they would be really good with them.

Mini albums take less time and money to produce than an album. Maybe if things sold better in Korea they would invest the time to make a full album instead. Before it was mini album and next an album, but now I think they've gotten into the habit of releasing too many mini albums just to stay a float. YG has Se7en to support in US and Big Bang in Japan.

Yes i LOVE this mini album too...small album but I dunno, it feels packed though...Of course they can do songs like FIRE...but for a debut, they showed their, fun, cute, serious, mature side all in this....

And the songs are definitely a grower...it feels a lot better after a few more listens...so I dont think people should be disappointed...

The video was okay. The first time I saw it I didn't know what was going on. There were a couple of fan service types scenes. More time with the girls, but the scenes move fast so it's hard to catch it. Is it me or does the video scenes move faster as the video goes on?

I still like Fire more than I Don't Care, but I'm starting to appreciate it after the noise of Fire. The song is really laidback so I'm hoping to still see some great stage presence from them.
