she's smart, she knows not to use one (mediocre) photographer for everything. i notice she uses a ton of different photographers for her photo shoots (though she has been using Shoji Uchida for a lot of her covers) but they turn out great so i don't really mind

I think Namie can look gorgeous even with the worst photographer of the world..she just knows what she wants and I doubt that she will let a photographer make her look strange or ugly or fake like that picture of Ayu that someone posted...that one is not only the photographer shot's fault but also the exaggerated use of photoshop's fault =P

OMG the PINKY photoshoot!! I think that's my favorite..

Leslie Kee photographs involves emotion + action. He takes everything in the pictures very seriously, even the motion of the hair.

How about Kazu? He just cares the facial expression (often fish-lips) and fashion.

I do think kazu has a plan for his photos other than "fashion", however he's very much about colours and making a strong impression. He doesen't care about conventional classic ratios but rather composes his images based on interaction of colours and surprise/unexpectedness. IMO this is also clear when you see his PVs in which he go all out. That is also why he got the award for colour direction. In that way he's more avant garde than leslie.

Good point, and i didn't realize that. +1 point on your post. Well and he gives me a feeling he is a type of guy that Namie does not like.

Some people here were wondering if My Love was going to be part 2 for Dr. but I don't think it will...I have a feeling Nao'ymt will do Part 2 because I don't think I'd be interested in it as much unless it was done by Nao'ymt since he started it. I hope we get an album name soon, or at least the preorder links.

In InRed magazine Namie said that she hopes the album will be ready by December... so looks like there's some work to be done. She says that she started again from the ground-up this time, and the songs are looking very interesting and fun.

I get so giddy every time I think about Namie's new album dropping by the end of the year..

Just because it'll be ready doesn't mean it will be released, right? Or does it?

and those songs are very wild too because wild is the theme of this album, as Namie said in the earlier interview.

Um... that's what it obviously means.

That could mean a number of different things. PLAY took place in the "FUNKY TOWN" world but not every song was as funky or as zany as FUNKY TOWN itself. Besides, we already know she's putting a cutesy-type song like Copy That on there. I picture the whole album just having a more "spacey" feel in general.

seems that avex taiwan has kept the digipak packaging intact as what I saw on ebay so yeah
