plus her voice has grown deeper... it`s not only a vocal technique it`s just the timbre of her voice is not the same as 10 years ago...

yup, she kinda screw SEASONS up, but she was acting cute, that can save her for me lol,
PLUS, she sang Microphone awsome. I was surprised, and I liked her outfit.

I searched "うたピク" and it looks like it's a slideshow thing using music/video from your mobile phone... so you can make little photo slideshows with meaning of Love or RED LINE's album version.

I'm pretty happy with it. I think it just takes some getting used to, and people need to accept that SEASONS / monochrome / poker face / YOU / etc. won't be sung with that high nasally sound nowadays.

The Microphone performance was good, but the pimp chair and spider web were a bit out of place.

They were transcribed and are the same as the original.

I suppose by "extra lyric" I was thinking of something weird like more lalalas or an oooooooh ooooooh in the middle of the song, haha.

The theme of the show was 20 years of #1s and everyone performed a #1 or top 3 hit and a brand new song. Ayu chose SEASONS out of the following songs, I suppose. (She had 12 #1 monthlies shown last night.)

She could've performed anything really, but fans in Japan guessed SEASONS quite easily. I wonder why...

lol, when I listened to SEASONS I just got a feeling of RnRC, because of the lyrics. They sound like an echo of Dlb's lyrics to me. Maybe it's just me, but when I first saw the performance I totally understood why she chose SEASONS. ^^

Ah, yes, should've said that. Haha. But sometimes there are album versions with little tweaks like that. I'm praying it's sort of an ~epic ballad~ rearrange or something. But the placement at the end of the album post-You were... either indicates that it's a ballad version, or that it is taking the place of what would be Humming 7/4 / flower garden / etc.

Where'd you get that idea from?

People seem to believe that RED LINE was not intended to be on this album, but I think from the very start of the album's conception, it was in the tracklist. Which means that one of the songs that we have was originally not a part of the tracklist. It's not like she decided at the last minute to include it or something... they probably decided on it when they created the dance for it at CDL09-10, you know?

The added song was probably meaning of Love or something. Last Links had a tie in lined up already, and the only songs that weren't "done" when the album was announced with 14 tracks were probably count down, meaning of Love, and Lady Dynamite. (Don't look back was a part of the announcement with Microphone)

From what I understand, the bonus track is on the DVD, and it is:

i loved her performances, the SEASONS mistake was so great! LOL but wow, she really pulled through with microphone!

I brought this up elsewhere, but the Rock'n'Roll Circus title goes with the theme of Microphone and Sexy little things (and Don't look back to an extent) of how there are basically "two sides" to everything.

Rock'n'Roll is the serious side of Ayu's music/the album, and the Circus is the light hearted more "fun" side.

It's a bit hard to ignore the parallels considering it's present in all of the PVs for the album basically....

Yes yes!! THIS. NL lacked hard rock, strong ballads, rock ballads. Almost everything that Ayu Normally does. Or rather, things that made Ayu love her..something that is classic Ayu. Not saying its songs are bad, but there's just something missing..but well, the album stuck to its theme really well i have to say.

R'N'R CIRCUS is fantastic!!!!!!!! Bringing everything back. Now I know what she means by "visit to the past"..something along those lines...

No no. It's not about whether her voice is high pitch or not. My brother actually noticed that nowadays whenever she sang an really old song, she was like singing word by word with a 0.5 second pause in between (yeah I'm exaggerating, but I dunno how to explain). When she sang a newer song, she became fluent again and sang the song sentence by sentence.

Last time when she sang SEASONS on FNS (is that correct? with Days), the fluidity was there, but this time it was just so awkward..

I know what you mean, about the pauses. It's because of the problems with her vocal chords. Whenever I recognise things like this, it's further proof that her voice isn't healthy.

im so excited for this album. im loving every track except for SLT. her live performance was so great. although her voice in seasons was not like her younger days, it was still good cuz she didnt change the song to make it easier for her. i loved it when she started laughing at the end of the performance. its like wat you do?? hahaha

Well, most of the time they do put small previews up and also have a CM up for whatever reason on avexnetwork's channel. Not sure why they do both, but with the amount of PVs in this album, they really should make a CM for ~YouTube only~ or whatever so that people can get a quick taste of what's in the album.

I feel so sad that I even not allow myself to watch the cm. I dun really want to spoil the fun (and I have said this for at least a few times since last week... :no).

It's all worth it in the end.

I have a friend who didn't listen to anything from NEXT LEVEL or pay attention to anything from that era until he got the album and he loves the album, haha.
