“Shin Domoto Kyoudai” to welcome new cast members to the show

KinKi Kids‘ music variety show, “Shin Domoto Kyoudai” (Sun at 11:15 PM), will celebrate its 10th year anniversary since they started the broadcast, and they will renew the show with new talent.

In the episode on April 24th, Brother Tom, Fukada Kyoko, and HALCALI’s YUCALI and HALCA will graduate from the show, and Makihara Noriyuki, Nishikawa Takanori, and AKB48 member Takahashi Minami will be added as the new members starting on May 8th. Those three members will participate as a chorus on the live corner, as well as on its new corner, “Uso Hon Domoto”, in which they seek to find out if the guest’s episode is true or false.

The first guest after the renewal will be a singer, Tokunaga Hideaki, and Takahashi will perform a duet with him.

T.M. Revolution to sing for new “Sengoku BASARA” game again!

T.M. Revolution’s new song “FLAGS” has been chosen as the theme song for the upcoming Sony PSP game, “Sengoku BASARA Chronicle Heroes” (Capcom) which is scheduled to be released on July 21st. As we reported previously, the new song “FLAGS” will also be the theme song for its anime film version “Sengoku BASARA Gekijouban” (will be released on June 4th), therefore, he will be singing for both game and anime film.

T.M.R has sung the series’ theme songs several times; other artists who also sang the theme song for the series include, “corsswise” (for “Sengoku BASARA” and “Sengoku BASARA X”), “Naked arms” (for “Sengoku BASARA 3″), “SWORD SUMMIT” (for anime “Sengoku BASARA Ni”), and Nishikawa Takanori’s other project ”abingdon boys school“.

The release day for “FLAGS” will be announced at a later date.

T.M.Revolution to appear in musical, “ROCK OF AGES”

Nishikawa Takanori – also known as T.M.Revolution – announced on his official website that he will be appearing in the musical, “ROCK OF AGES“!

The rock singer’s been cast as the main lead, and so he’ll revisit classic rock hits from Bon Jovi, Journey, Europe, and many more in celebration of the Broadway musical’s forty-fifth anniversary.

The musical will be performed from October 28th to November 6th at the Tokyo Kokusai Forum. Further details have yet to be announced.

ooh another musicial in the bag after Takanori starred in the 1st Japanese instalment for Little Shop Of Horrors aka more time to wait for a new abs release now ._.

i've heard of that ROCK OF AGES musical. i think it's showing on broadway too, lol. anyway, it's nice to see takanori so busy! he really is focusing on his career right now than anything else. i just hope he won't forget abingdon boys school. :( i would be SO happy if they had a single this summer. even if it was released in august! just something, lol. :weep

I've seen the US tour of Rock of Ages, it's pretty awesome :)

I am so sad that abs is inactiv at the moment.. but I am also happy to listen to TMR new album.
However I have a question to all of you who are much more a TMR fan like me (^^;)

The reason why abs is inactive atm is because it's T.M.Revolution's 15th anniversary so Takanori is focussing on that... they might be back next year and also they'll probably be performing @ inazuma rock fes 2011 ^^

It's not released on DVD, just a tv broadcast, so these lives were taken from the tv broadcast, sadly... I'd love to see Live Revolution '05 on DVD :(

it's not much, but at least abs will perform at the 2011 INAZUMA ROCK FESTIVAL on sept. 17th. :D

i'm so happy to know that takanori hasn't completely abandoned abs, haha. :P

I wonder if abs will release any new material this year... *fingers crossed*
