The lyrics are beautiful, even if a little bit cliche imo. I mean, they're typical Ayu lyrics. But well, it's just the first part of the song lol so we can't judge it properly.
And the title is kinda expected but cool as well. I have high expectations on this song, seriously.

yeah he is very versatile. but no he didn't have any part in Sunrise/BLUE BIRD. I'm not sure if my list is complete, those are just all the songs I see he has worked on of hers the past 5 years or so. he also works on most of her orchestra versions on her singles. :D
