Well, I wasn't intending to post something with which I would get backslashed but I get the point, I didn't inted to be rude but I kind of lost my temper there ._.
Sorry if I offended anyone, but it's just frustrating to see people talking in circles in this thread if there's many other things about Utada they could talk about, like most beloved or least favourite picture, who has been to a concert of her and what his or her experiences were, Miracle Hikaru, discuss songtexts and articles or rumours about her, .....

Well... she for sure has a good amount of money for herself... with 3 albums among the Japan's top10 best selling (Ayu only has 1), her singles sales and her tie-ins (that are also bigger and most likelly more profitable than Ayu's), I would say she most likelly has enought money for not needing to work anymore... :P

Also, her mother was one of the top Japan singers back in the 70s (still holding the record for the most consecutive weeks at #1 with an album, 20), so, I would say she was never poor :P

Still, in Japan it's forbiden to annouce people's income... They usually announce who paied the most taxes in order to especulate who made the most money... So, we don't know about Hikki at all^^

I know her family history and that she wasn't poor (I even have a lot of her rare photos from when she was young and in the studio, etc).

I just wanted a general number estimate of her net worth. Like is she worth 250 mill, 400 mill, etc.

She has dual citizenship in America - as well all know - so I was curious if they would report it here at all.

I know she once purchased a 1.5 million dollar Louis Vuitton carrying case for Kuma, so I know she's rich.

And my point was... she is ****ing rich and can buy everyone on this forum :P But we don't have the numbers, and most likelly never will...
