Look up fan-recorded videos of her tour on youtube. Hold it Against Me for example was live in every concert.

I went to one of her tour dates and you can actually really tell the live segment from the pre-recorded one and if I remember correctly she sang Don't Let Me Be the Last to Know completely live.

I'm sure there are tons of fan recorded videos, you can check them out :D

Some professional recordings by a brazilian news webportal:

The DVD:

On the non dvd version you can hear she going off key, failing to harmonize with the back track, and her voice being very inconsistent every time she needs to change the key she is singing in...

Fan recording:

DVD:

And as u can see here, the notes on the live version of BOMT where different from the studio version, still, their editing was so lazy she has her mouth open for nothing (she was singing, or "singing" live on that part) , and once she closes her mouth, the album version notes come from nowhere...

They not only took everything she sang (or pretended she sang) out, they also put the studio version even where it didn't fit... crapy, crapy work...

Andrenekoi 3rd December 2011 03:39 PM

The first video is not showing... hmmmm

It was this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-GJWcwzTYYk

Thanks for the clips. Wow, I'm practically astounded that she actually sang live. It was a reminder of what a typical voice she has though. Not like I ever thought she was Christina, but hearing her live nowadays is certainly not impressive after all. My real criticism is the dancing though. I have to wonder: has she gotten worse since the Circus Tour?! I swear it's like watching someone with 0 motivation who barely knows what they're doing. What all those concertgoers are paying for is the name and the songs, because nobody else would be excused for such lazy performances. God, she really needs a break. As if the world will ever give her one.

I wanted the DVD for christmas, but know I don't want it anymore...

Andrenekoi 3rd December 2011 08:22 PM

^U deserve better for ur christmas...

Still, I would like to see her cutting the "dancing" out and re-inventing herself as a performer^^

Chibi-Chan 4th December 2011 11:59 AM

I soooo wanted to go and see her live, but I hadn't enough money. That was why I was so happy about the DVD being released, but there is no point in buying a live DVD when the songs are replaced by studio recordings...

2012 Britney will be on hiatus according to RCA records

Chibi-Chan 4th January 2012 12:52 PM

^I read just now that she will marry Jason. Congrates to her, but I'm sad that there will be no new Britney songs this year.

Chibi-Chan 4th January 2012 09:39 PM

I just found a performance of Womanizer at NTV Best Artist 2008 (and it's really great!!! :heart). Does anybody know if Britney appeard recently at japanese TV?

Edit: OMG, I found a website where you can download all of Brit's TV performances! Thank god, there are still people with a heart out there!

TITANIC 4th January 2012 11:58 PM

As you guys likely know Britney co-wrote BoA's "Look Who's Talking", which can be found on BoA's english debut album. Now the demo sung by Britney leaked: http://ohnotheydidnt.livejournal.com/65626966.html
I think BoA's and Britney's voices sound very similar in this song. xD

Edit: Just heard "Whiplash" from Selena Gomez, which was also co-written by Britney: WHY THE HELL BRITNEY DIDN'T USED IT HERSELF!!!!!???????? It's so super catchy!!!!

TITANIC 12th January 2012 01:24 AM

^ oh yea the song also suits her very well. I'm happy look who's talking about replace How I Roll in Femme Fatale

femtrooper 13th January 2012 06:57 AM

I remember hearing on a Britney forum that they used another performance and dubbed it over the actual one for the DVD...ie. using the New York performance audio for the Toronto visual. Something like that. Although it sounds like they just replaced what she was doing and just made it seem like it was entirely lip syncing. That's sad cause it looks like she was trying. :( Oh well, I guess I don't want this now either.

I remember when BoA's US album came out and I found out that Britney co-wrote 'Look Who's Talking' and I was so excited! Interesting that Britney is doing it now! Sad that no one will know that BoA sang it first... :( They'll just think that BoA copied or something...you know how people are who know nothing of Asian music. Anyway, it does surprisingly sound similar to BoA's version! Oh man! I think I like BoA's version better though. I'm stoked though for Britney doing it! It's a great pop song! I would love if they did a duet together, and even if it was just in Asia, it would be awesome!

Also, Britney Spears should have done Whiplash! Too bad! Oh well, at least the song is out there!^^

Chibi-Chan 13th January 2012 01:44 PM

^Britney will not release "Look Who's Talking", it's just the demo of the song they made back then when they wrote the song.^^
