Hopefully these PVs are far better than the FIVE ones, we need another Ayu release where every PV is perfect.

and it is confirmed she's filming a PV for party queen? Really hope she doesn't waste a video on that crappy song.

saigodansu 20th January 2012 05:46 AM

It was already filmed in London. They did a PV about a party in a London apartment so I don't think that could've been anything else.

Pieces_of_SEVEN 20th January 2012 05:47 AM

^^No, we don't know if party queen will be getting a PV. Probably though.

femtrooper 20th January 2012 05:48 AM

I'd love to see a video for Party Queen! Love that song!

YuriChan 20th January 2012 05:54 AM

^Me too! :heart Maybe the song will be kind of angst with a desert setting like this video.

Something like JAPONESQUE, I'd die of happiness xDD

Jester 20th January 2012 02:24 PM

I wish she shooting at Burj Khalifa :lech

TITANIC 21st January 2012 09:56 AM

would be nice to see her PV shoot in egypt.

ComatoseBunnySnatcher 21st January 2012 10:35 AM

It could be any place, but if it was Dubai I'd doubt itd be something so secretive.

saigodansu 21st January 2012 10:52 AM

She just updated TA. Could someone post it here. With all thats going on I think everyone can handle ignoring that rule like was done for the last TA update.

OyTony 21st January 2012 11:23 AM

^
No. =D
I think she said something about news on Monday and we should look forward to it. =)

Last sentence from the TA message google translation:
More and more from Monday, everyone had me waiting for hours, so we will have to ban that information, ♪ Tsu Tsu Tsu Hey you looking forward to

Usually when it comes to ayu's music, there is always a set of mismatched themes.

Don't look back - indian music + self-reflective lyrics + music video shot in a modern room

INSPIRE - Rock music + shot in L.A. + Indian/Middle-East imagery

BRILLANTE - More like an Asian history drama theme kind of music + Egyptian costume + Shot in a modern studio..

So I don't really expect the music itself to be that exotic.

in my opinion Don't look back has Indian drums and instruments but the arrangement is pretty much middle eastern rather than Indian
i really hope it will be not shoot in Dubai or Abu Dhabi ...
i mean i love Dubai and Abu Dhabi and i agree both are great cities but there are more interesting and exotic places in middle east than these two artificial cities :(

i can't believe the amount of ignorance here ....
do you guys think like we don't ever party or something ?
i don't want to sound like a sensitive bitter person but since i'm a middle eastern i don't know what' funny about your statements ?
i mean what's funny if she will be party queen in middle east ?
if you know any middle eastern people no matter what their ethnic and religion, you will discover that most of us like to party, sing and dance hard
and beside it is true desert is in our culture and camel and all stuff and i'm proud of it but MIDDLE EAST IS MORE THEN A DESERT
middle east is more diverse than what you think

I know wikipedia is down but if you look up what the Middle East constitutes India and Thailand are not in the middle east. They are all in Asia but that does not make them the same. INSPIRE is Thai inspired more than anything. Brillante is confusing because of its drums but the strings and creepy choir are not common to anything Middles Eastern. The Zither in Don't look back is more Indian than Arabic, however the violin-like parts are reminiscent of arabic music so that's probably the closest to a 'Middle Eastern' song she has come.

It takes more than black eyeliner and baggy pants to make a song "Middle East" inspired. With that said, I hope she does something post apocalyptic in the desert like in Kazeyomi's post.

i don't know if anyone else will agree with me
but i think the closest ayu song to middle east is ourselves
the music, beat and the way how ayu sang in ourselves is so similar to middle east

Excuse me? You smell we are criticizing arab culture, don't you? The reason why I laugh out loud if ayu makes Party Queen in Middle East is because I can see she will do something like Sex and the City II Swimming Pool Scene for Party Queen.

No offensive to arab culture in our message. If you believe arab is diverse, then stop being narrow mind and believe that we are being ignorance to look at your culture.

Anyway, is it possible to have 2PVs for 1 song :P?

LOL! Don't get butthurt, no one was offending the Arabian culture. You indeed sound like a sensitive bitter person. :laugh

@ Kotara, I don't really know :p. Maybe it's possible but I'm not sure if ayu's ever done that before ~

se7entheaven 21st January 2012 02:51 PM

ayu might be inspired by Tom Cruise and climb The Burj Khalifa LOL

i was talking about WHOLE middle east not only arab
well maybe if you stop being the ignorant narrow minded first maybe people will not take your comments in offensive way
doesn't hurt if you actually explain the miss understanding in nice way but ANYWAY....

i'm sorry :P i get now what you were referring to :p
but my intention was not to make you feel bothered or anything :no
i just wanted to correct the wrong stereotypes that surrounded us
some of "innocent" or care free comments here can leave some of uncomfortable feeling to the native
i know most of you are not "middle east" expert
but i hope you can understand that with all current events that happen in our region many people tend to have the wrong stereotypes and information about middle east and it's not nice when you even make jokes about it while you have the wrong idea about the region !!! and i wasn't talking about ARAB only i was talking behalf of whole middle east :D

hahahaha I can see what you mean.

I agree though I think that the bridge instrumental in Don't look back and ourselves instrumental between chorus and verses are her most middle eastern sounds others (and all of kuu's songs) are mainly indian sounding.
