With her shotgun marriage to Akanishi Jin, Kuroki Meisa is in a big pinch. People are worried that she will soon be forced out of the entertainment industry.

Her agency has been floated with complaints about the pregnant starlet. Sponsors have been telling them that they can’t have her as their spokesperson come next advertising season. There have even been talks of asking for reparations for possible loss.

After the announcement of her marriage, Meisa has been canceling all her previously scheduled TV show appearances. But there is an end to that tunnel, apparently one particular industry is extremely interested in Ms. Kuroki.

“The publishing industry is very interested in Meisa posing nude for them while pregnant. Right now, she’s only 2-3 months pregnant, so she’s not showing. Later on in her pregnancy, when she has that baby bump, they’re really interested in her posing nude. They’ve even talked with her agency about the possibility of her posing topless, or at least mostly nude. Many publishing companies have already made offers.” This is according to a publishing insider.

When singer Hitomi posed nude while pregnant for her CD cover and photobook in 2009, it was a big hit. “That photobook sold a lot, so they’re looking to have a repeat of that hit.”

“TV stations will find it hard to cast her because her agency wasn’t able to properly control her. Even though she has only messed up once, it’s hard for her agency to say let things slide.” Said a tabloid writer.

Idk what it is but I just can't seem to get into Unlocked like I did with MAGAZINE. It's not really a bad album but it's kind of weak imo...so disappointing especially when the singles were really good. & as for this news....wow I feel sorry for Meisa. This is quite a predicament that she's in...

I'm really surprised her endorsement deal with Uniqlo is still intact (for now) but it was nice to see these new shots of her

This commercial could have been shot and made before the announcement of her pregnancy and marriage (that could possibly, though not neccessarily, explain why they are using "Woman's Worth" in the commercial versus a new song or another song from the album or something). As someone who works in the entertainment industry, most of the time things are shot WAY in advance before it is aired or printed in magazines. And even if this is more recent, she still has contractual obligations to these companies so she has to fulfill them or risk getting sued or dropped. While it's exciting to see her post all of the drama, I wouldn't count my eggs before they hatch. To my knowledge, she hasn't spoken on what her future plans are with her music, acting, and modeling career yet nor has her agency or record label. Hopefully she does return once she feels ready to but I wouldn't jump to the conclusion that this commercial is an indication that she will be making a comeback in the very near future (it would be nice if it does turn out that way though as I do like her last album and am curious about the music she would make post being a mommy and wife).

That's called finishing your contract. Lulz. And to be honest, that was a very lazy commercial. Old song and spastic flashes and cuts of her posing and dancing anyway she felt like as long as she kept that watch in the shot.

Meisa Kuroki to make first appearance since marriage

TOKYO — Actress-singer Meisa Kuroki, 23, who in February announced her sudden marriage to former KAT-TUN singer Jin Akanishi, 27, will appear in a recitation of “Miyazaki Kenji ga tsutaerukoto” (Message from Kenji Miyazaki) at the Setagaya Public Theater in Tokyo on May 12-13.

Since announcing her marriage and pregnancy, Kuroki has dropped out of public view, but decided to take part in the Miyazawa event because it is in support of the victims of the March 11 disaster, she said in a statement.

Kuroki will join Yu Aoi, Shinobu Otake, Yoshino Kimura, Kyoko Koizumi, Kyoka Suzuki, Yosuke Eguchi, Tsurube Shofukutei and Shinichi Tsutsumi, among others.

The performers’ combinations and schedules will be announced later. The recitation goes from May 9 until June 3

So I finally listened to UNLOCK. Shake it Off is the most flawless thing I have heard in a while in the J-Pop scene. Take Me Away and Flash Light are really nice (but Flash Light sounds like something BENI would sing lol)

EDIT: Oh, her and Jin got it on and she's preggo now? wtf lol

that's because Flash Light is composed by Daisuke "D.I" Imai who's BENI's main composer ;) & I also had that when I 1st heard it
