somehow I feel like the chances of that happening are very slim to none...lol

jewelbox 9th March 2012 08:26 AM

I liked almost everything about it. I liked it was black and white, I liked her appearance (the wig, the costume), I liked all those people in it and I liked the message.
Only thing about it I don't love: the song itself.

Pieces_of_SEVEN 9th March 2012 09:44 AM

I would have like to see a color version though...but oh well. This works.

Calico 10th March 2012 06:18 PM

I loved it. I felt really proud being an Ayu fan after watching it.

Also, I'm so happy that there is finally lesbianism represented in an ayu video without the "are they or aren't they?" mystery. Y'all can having the gay porn star, I'll be chatting up the woman on the left. :laugh

xLuna&1LOVE 10th March 2012 11:17 PM

I don't think I feel so emotional after watching this video, but I think she did a very great job. She looked very gorgeous, the cast is chosen very well and yeah... overall it really fits the video. I like it a lot!

+ Sides
Ayu looked very angelic.
I love how the people in the video are represented.
The song is beautiful.
- Sides
Her nails do look a little too gaudy for this type of video.
The boots with that dress...just...no.

angelyu 11th March 2012 08:57 AM

according to the lyrics,i think there's another message from the video:ayu wants to thank these people.for they never give up no matter what they have suffered, thus give her the courage to go on with her own life.i think this is why these people are beautiful

I liked her dress at first but her nails - :no they made her look like a vampire or smth, lol, super big dress and super big hands (looking so because of nails) looked not the best comparing to tiny & petite Ayu :innocent

come to think of it now I think I personally wouldn't mind her simply in jeans and a t-shirt aka 2002+ Ayu :yes
but then everyone would say that this was too much like X-tina :D

Pieces_of_SEVEN 13th March 2012 02:23 AM

I just know I loved it...and my favorite part is near the end when the two guys kiss. AWESOME>

Catzi 13th March 2012 02:56 AM

I didn't think this video was emotional enough to cry, but I really liked it. Showcasing all the different people and how everyone is capable of love was great.

Loved her dress! Didn't like the boots or her nails. Her nails have been so pointy lately... why can't she have regular shaped nails? I know she like hearts, but gah!

Also, I'm glad that this video didn't end up being like Christina's Beautiful, even though the preview made it seem so. Christina's video is about loving yourself, and Ayu's is about showing that love is love.

Pieces_of_SEVEN 13th March 2012 03:57 AM

^^I get emotional easily, but the last minute or so of the PV definitely made me cry.

xLuna&1LOVE 13th March 2012 11:52 AM

^ that's probably because it's so recognisable for you.

I have not yet watch it, still waiting patiently for the release album. But from what I read, isnt the concept was like kinda 'not special'? Every western (or other country) musician had done it before, there's MJ till Dolly Parton had done it and maybe more that we or at least I ever know, so what its make really special? The emotion? Kinda same thing with those artist PV I mentioned I guess.
This is just my thoughts, not intended to offense Ayu or any fans. A simple curiosity.

No_Doubt 15th March 2012 02:05 AM

I thought the PV was simple but very well-done. The song itself is serviceble but unremarkable. Thankfully the PV makes up for the averageness of the song.

And Ayu looks gorgeous in it.

yulio stevanus 15th March 2012 10:04 AM

you know. i'm crying see this wonderful PV. so emotional.

Catfisk 15th March 2012 02:38 PM

One of her best in a while, imo. It's so beautiful <3 Reminded me a little of beloved though :o maybe it's just the b/w..

yoshino 15th March 2012 04:59 PM

It's a great touching song. Although I dun like black n white but it's quite special like this.

I love how Ayu uses random people in her pvs. =)

You are right, imo. Its a sweet concept, but nothing that hasn't really been done before. Ayu's is just her take on it I guess? And that's what probably makes it special to members here.

blackmage 18th March 2012 08:21 PM

Not to sound mind-in-the-gutter, but I LOVE that fact that Koh Masaki was featured in this video. I've always thought he is absolutely gorgeous despite being a porn star.

The MV is completely simple (I don't mind at all!), but I really enjoy the message. I really feel with this MV that Ayu has really thrown her opinion more so than before about gay and maybe possible issue of rights. (Though her opinion is completely flamboyant having Timmy everywhere :rolleyes) Though I'm not going to make it seem all gay pride like, but I just really admire that about Ayu. It is brave to throw it out there so blatantly with Koh and the other guy kissing, etc.

The video is really about acceptance... LOVE & HOPE. The MV really does well showing glimpses about these characters or people and their daily struggles for acceptance based on appearance or lifestyles (the S&M was probably the most random of the bunch), disabilities, etc. I think having each person and showing these glimpses really tells their story perfectly. It shows hope and really does get the point across in the most simplistic of ways how beautiful they and everyone is. :luv2

I liked this video far more than the one for Heaven. Which didn't really touch me as much as it seemed to most.
I did actually tear up/cry softly at this video. I found it to be very touching.
