Sweet scar is probably not the medium ballad track (that will probably be Ivy). If anything the description of "a painful uplifting track" fits it perfectly and we'll probably figure out the meaning behind a 'sweet scar' lyrically later on. They could also go together since Ivy may refer to poison ivy.

The way they were described was like this:

"There's a rock track (actually, all that was said was "there is rock"), a sad/painful uplifting track, a ballad with a strong main vocal, and a medium ballad that will speak to the listener"

Each description was for a single track.

So we have in order (likely to be the tracklist order too):
Rock
Uplifting + sadness/pain
Strong vocal ballad
Medium ballad

I get SUPER strong Memorial address vibes from the breakdown since most of these types of tracks also appeared on Memorial address. I recall for that release though, it was mainly BOUNCEBACK compared to how it's mostly Komuro this time around.

from Komuro I liked November, do it again, Like a doll, Last angel, sending mail - but those are not my faves. Only my fave is Love song.

from D.A.I songs I like all the LOVEppears songs (especially too late, end roll and B&G) and from the other TB, Real me, BALLAD, Return Road.

But still besides Love song (which I STILL cry during this song omg) there are not "boom hit" material (but Return Road was close to that)

And I don't expect much from Missing Orchestra ver because I guess it'll be done by Yuta, I do love most of his original mixes but his orchestra vers are just bummers compared to ayu's earlier orchestra vers.

If this mini album were to start with another song by Timmy, i will cringe seriously.. But so far, i like the titles.. and yeah... more ballads except maybe Wake me up being a rock song.. oh well.. :(

I like the titles "Wake me up", "Ivy" and "Sweet scar"... The latter sounds weird but it directly made me think of NEXT LEVEL's lyrics !

What's more NEXT LEVEL was also a DAI composition so I'm expecting something nice.
It's weird they didn't give any name for Wake me up's composer, Timmy is from the UK but if he composed the song why wouldn't it be written ?
