Fun and refreshing ^_^

Kazeyomi 29th November 2013 02:34 PM

Love the pop-art style, but she looks really like Gaga :laugh

Ahi_max91 29th November 2013 02:48 PM

looks like lady gaga~ lol

As a graphic designer I don't really think this works as a good logo, but I still love the concept and how she finally ditched the medieval-like logos she has used before. Feels like it will be a fun concert! :)

WUT

Interesting logo.. At least its following the current tread. somehow superhero feel too... looking forward to the title of the concert

I am one of those that really really don't like the logo. I am curious of the concert but i don't like the path she has taken these days, this westernization of her style. I love her, but honestly those 2 new songs are horrendous compared to any of her past works (or on the same horrible level as Shake It or Nanana). I presented this music video to my boyfriend and i felt super bad about it. He said: shit is shit, she is going down. Another close friend who watched few concerts with me said: "That's AYUMI!!!" showing how the hell is it possible she produced sth so cheap. The song may be catchy, but it's really low standard, like really low.
I know that there are people who find it nice, refreshing etc. I'm not and i'm just expressing my thoughts.

I don't know about that... these are radio-friendly tracks. They actually have the potential (like You & Me) to be big with casual listeners. While a lot of her other tracks before have been nice, none after around 2008 have really stuck with non-Ayu-fans, I think, so we've gotten a bit of a 'safe' single from Ayu, but at the same time, she's never really done tracks like these before so it's new/fresh/exciting IMO. I've listened to the songs about 10,000 times in total because I'm so freaking obsessed.

If your boyfriend dislikes Ayu already, I doubt that he would say anything positive about her. And just which concerts did you watch? If you watched AT09 or AT12 perhaps, I would understand... but AT10? POWER of MUSIC? A BEST LIVE? Those are all so well done...

maxikot 29th November 2013 05:24 PM

My boyfriend doesnt't not like Ayu. He knows when to appreciate interesting and good work. He enjoyed Brillante, tell me why, return road (examples).
About concerts that we watched together were: Arena 2005, Arena 2007, Premium Countdown, Future Classics Countdown, 7 days special and A Best Live.

This design is special, and I do like it, looking forward for the content ~

lol, her most colorful logo ever! look like some party song gonna include in the list (hopefully "glasses" will eventually used in a show), or maybe a colorful stage like NL tour!

kinix 29th November 2013 06:42 PM

Hey people, it's just a logo for a countdown live. The management designer already ran out of ideas for the 15th anniversary logo what would you expect for a CDL? Logo isn't important, other artist doesn't even have a logo for their concert. Stop making a big fuss over it. Important thing is the content of the concert.

I don`t like it this logo. So sad...

RealLight 29th November 2013 09:31 PM

Is that Lady Gaga? :laugh

relmy 29th November 2013 09:44 PM

I loooove the idea but the logo is kinda ugly, I think it's the text and the way they coloured her. Should have used half tone on her and made it a bit less busy.

ava_dreams 29th November 2013 10:02 PM

Nice Lichtenstein reference, but she looks like Lady Gaga more than herself

mi|kshake 29th November 2013 10:16 PM

Logo is alright, although she does look like Gaga (not that it's a bad thing). I think she would look more like herself if they changed the colour of her hair.

LEOyumi 29th November 2013 10:20 PM

I don't really like the logo as well, but I think it's not that important. This is probably not gonna affect the real show, and if it somewhat does, I feel it's gonna be a great thing. I mean, as a logo, it doesn't look that great, but on stage it's gonna look nice.

emi♡ 29th November 2013 10:29 PM

I don't she looks like Gaga as much as it just, reminds me of Gaga. Especially when she just did the whole artpop thing.

I don't care for this style, or the colors, but I'm happy that it's something different and that it's fun.

I really. really. dislike that stupid diamond in there though. Makes it look cheap. Or tacky. I guess that's part of the fun though.
