I hope you find some songs you like! I really love her first two singles. Best of my Love might have the flaw of running a bit too long, but it's such a beautiful song, her voice and the melody in the chorus are just bliss, and the signature piano riff is haunting in the best way. Brand New Day is still stone-cold pop perfection and nothing will convince me otherwise. :P The b-sides are really good too! Delight took a while to grow on me, but it's become one of my favourite songs from her. forget-me-not caught on immediately, it's such a fun, happy song. [end sudden gushing no one asked for lol]

Tweedia is out already! I really like the title track, it doesn't wear thin on repeated listenings at all, but I LOVE my glory day, something about that song just gets me. :heart Better than her last single imo!

Ashitairo is a perfectly nice autumn ballad, but I find myself preferring the b-sides yet again. 1AM gives me some Forget-me-not / my glory day vibes, I love it. Lots of Love is her second foray into pop-rock, faster and catchier than Passcode, not bad at all.

I bolded the new tracks to highlight how few of them there are. Quite disappointed. And so many b-sides, but no my glory day?! Blasphemy. I hope the new songs are good enough to compensate for their low number. But OMG the covers are so pretty, she's stunning! I don't even mind all the glitter specles.

Ok, I am officially excited! All the new songs sound great!! I'm loving the acoustic versions though Mirror and Ashitairo aren't even close to my favourite songs by her. 1AM is still gonna be the best track though. :P (Also, still bitter that my glory day didn't make it on the tracklist... IT'S SO GOOD THOUGH)

I finally got my copy of PRISM! I have to say, the visual design for this album is on point. The covers are great, the booklet actually contains MANY pictures, not the bare minimum like I feel some albums tend to, the sparkle theme is carried over from the cover to inside the booklet and even the album's title is reflected in the booklet photos, and everything is so pretty! Sparkles and rainbows everywhere! Even the discs look pretty!

I didn't find PRISM as good as Will, since many of the b-sides included just weren't that strong, but I have to say, the new tracks and the acoustic versions are GREAT. Still an enjoyable album, but I hope her next one will have more new content. :)

Rei is featured on SPICY CHOCOLATE's upcoming album, Shibuya Junai Monogatari 3, on the track Onaji Sora feat. Naoto Into Raymi & Rei Yasuda. The song will be released on November 2nd. PV preview:

I LOVE everything about the visual side of this release! I love that they went with a slightly avant-garde interpretation of Sunny instead of just plopping her to a flower field for a photo shoot, I love her weird outfit and pose and make-up and expression on the cover, I love the shade of the orange background like that is just one of my favourite colours, I love the mural in the music video and I think it's just beyond dope that they made this whole art piece for this video (to promote a single which will probably sell sad numbers...).

Sunny is painfully generic, Rei's vocals are definitely the best feature of this song which is otherwise completely forgettable. bring back the colors is a really cool song, a different kind of ballad. The beat tries to take me back to the 90s but the acoustic guitar and pristine production keep it feeling fresh and modern. I really love it.
