To me it seems the theme of the album (or lyrically) is her finding her new love and her life right now, which I'm so happy for her. I get the feeling it'll have a techno dance vibe...maybe NEXT LEVEL theme musically. As far as the tour, I can't wait for photos and the setlist. Shall be grand lol

hayasaki 17th May 2014 05:42 AM

I GOT MY TICKETS! OMG! Can anyone here help me find the usual seating plans of Ayu's tours in Nihon gaishi??

//ABEST 17th May 2014 10:31 AM

i'm so excited about how the setlist is going to be.. i hope she includes Merry-go-round on it

Yes merry-go-round needs a round 2 without the interruption of m-flo, it totally killed that performance for me.

adantatu2 17th May 2014 11:33 PM

Since this is a showcase I'm not expecting a long setlist. Maybe there are only the songs from the album ?

hayasaki 18th May 2014 12:53 AM

I have a feeling that Ayu will not really use the meaning of "Showcase" as per length and number of songs that she'll perform IMO. i think she only used it for the title! LOL Maybe the highlights will be the new songs and some classic Ayu and staple songs here and there like the previous tours :)

tokyoxjapanxfan 18th May 2014 02:33 AM

I got my tickets, first level of the stand area seats.

I can't still figure out where my seat will be. I got 35側 7番 and 38番. Can u help me locate them based on Ayu's usual seating pattern?

tokyoxjapanxfan 18th May 2014 02:37 AM

I made a mistake in the post you quoted xD

Like Yokohama, Nagoya lists the stand area as "arena" so I got confused.

Does it say アリーナ or センター?

And what 階? (For example 2階)

Edit: so I'm confused. I'm not sure where my seats are either :-p arena might really be arena. My friend's looking into it :-)

hayasaki 18th May 2014 03:35 AM

^its アリーナ. i tried looking everywhere on the net but i can't find any reference. LOL

i thought of looking/comparing it to my A Best Live tickets could help.

I got an Arena seat last year too. 36列56番 to be exact and that was a pretty perfect seat
far from the main stage but just a few meters away from the center stage..

EDIT: It says 1階入場口

If you thought that Ayu and Tomochin will be battling out for #1 - well, I'm sorry, but we've got a Johnny's group releasing an album on 7/2. So if you were thinking that Ayu's going to get #1 (or Tomochin of AKB48 fame), then you may have called it too early.

Kis-My-Ft2 is going to release their third album, "Kis-My-Journey", on 7/2. (Kis-My-Chances-of-Ayu-Number-One-Goodbye?)

(Problem is: While Kis-My-Ft2 is part of Johnny's, their music is being released by Avex...the same label as Ayu! What's going on with Avex??? Do they even really care about Ayu??? I just don't understand this... Ayu and Kis-My-Ft2 releasing new albums on the same day, and they're both on the same label...!

And with Tomochin in the playing field, I'm not sure if Ayu could even get #2 or drop to #3...!

When was the last time we saw a #3-ranked (Oricon) Ayu full-length studio album!?)

ayu-michan 20th May 2014 11:47 PM

Sounds like a hard competition here, but well... Well good luck Ayu hope you're giving a shit about promotion and I'll buy a copy to support too.

High hopes for this album, not so much for the rankings lol. Oh well let's see how it turns out.

marty 21st May 2014 12:01 AM

I don't have any hope this album will debut anything higher than #3.
But I honestly don't really care about positions, they're not really relevant. Kumi Koda debuted at #1 with Bon Voyage, but the sales are dreadful to say the least.
I'm much more scared to know how many copies it'll manage to sell.

adantatu2 21st May 2014 12:09 AM

^Exactly, the peak means nothing for me either.

But it's true, both are from the same company. I don't know if a label can release 2 albums of different artists in the same day. Or maybe ayu needs more time and she will change the release date.

ayuinh.k? 21st May 2014 01:44 AM

Only artist listed for July 9th that i know is Kyary Pamyu Pamyu

orbitalaspect 21st May 2014 02:42 AM

Yeah, but Kyary Pamyu Pamyu will definitely take #1 over an Ayu record. She's too popular right now.

truehappiness 21st May 2014 03:00 AM

Probably. But her sales are not that great IMO... then again it is a weird time for almost anyone who isn't XXX48/Nakata-related. Cover albums also seem to be immune to lower sales.

Bigtop 21st May 2014 07:25 AM

Kyary's album is a COVER album?

Maybe should Avex consider pushing back Ayu's album to 7/9? Hmm... Possible but not surely...

Why push it to another date? All of her streaks have been broken.
