Yeah, that's sadly true. Blenda and some other Gyaru mags are abandoning production.

the chorus is growing on me after hearing it in the MTV video and that ballad before MONEY IN MY BAG is so beautifullll MONEY IN MY BAG feels like BLING BLING BLING meets Candy HAHA |
In the HOTEL MV, she definitely CAN'T lip-sync properly :laugh

^If you watched the Facebook one, I think the timing was off. Cause the dancing was off beat, her movements, etc.
PV was kinda boring. No plot or anything. I loved the dancing, at least. And she looked good. Thanks for posting, though. |
I quite like it. I actually expected it to be more boring, without a plot and without dancing.
So I'm alright - she looks gorgeous, I really like the black hip hop outfit and the dancing. Kuu said something in the morning news making, that this switch is something about two sides of (human) character or something, like dark and bright - that's why there are two settings for the dancing. I didn't get all of it. Probably after drinking. Ah, and thanks, Flo honey! So Butterfly has a new arrangment, great. Lots of dancing is also great. Sounds like the second half of the concert is amazing. |
The audio of the video is out of sync. She looks gorgeous, but I'm not feeling the hip hop scene. I wasn't expecting a plot or something, just a looking good kind of video, like I'll be there, so it's good enough.
Thanks for the review, Lee-chan! I love all the songs of the first half so I'm pretty excited about it, and also the medley seems to be an eye candy! And yay, no more trying-to-be-funny interludes! |

Yeah HOTEL sucks. The verses are horrible and I don't like the style she is using there for singing. Then the chorus is even worse. The melody sounds like something a child would come up with on a long car ride. Don't like this song at all. The award for the JPOP song of summer 2014 goes to Boa.

I like hotel.. but the yellow dancing scenes do not go with it.. :( but overall I like.it!

I like it. I want to love it, but it's not amazing enough for me to really remember it. For me, her summer stuff (lick me, hashire, lalalalala, Hotel, I'm sure I'm forgetting a few others) never seemed memorable enough for me to really enjoy them.

I've just seen the "HOTEL" PV & it's absolutely the perfect PV to watch in the summertime! :love
To start off with, I think "HOTEL" is such a fantastic song! I love it. :heart I find it to be pretty catchy, as well! Kumi looked so pretty & beautiful throughout the entire PV. :heart I also enjoyed the dancing in the PV, it was fun to watch! The location of the PV is totally fitting for the summer, it was all looking so beautiful. :) Overall, the "HOTEL" PV was an absolute pleasure to watch. I've totally enjoyed it! :) The song is actually stuck in my head right now, too! :laugh I just love it. :) |
First time i listen to Hotel, by the name, i imagine about
Kumi pretends to be like bell boy, cook, reception etc. for taking care her guest and then dance scene. One thing i'm disappointed is no Plot but others such as song and dance are trapping me stickyly, i love this summer single behind only Gossip Candy. I miss storyline PV, looking forward to winter single :) |
The only thing I'm not digging in the MV is the split screen. Who came up with that idea. Dancing part was the best. Overall MV is fun.
