I'm still disappointed in avex's decision, but I hope anyone who wants to can still watch this..

I'm in Poland and I used Thumva to watch Leo Ieiri Streaming Live 2020 back in August. No problems at all. They charge 440円 more for some fees though. The stream was Full HD, quality was really good. There's no need to participate in chats. You can create or join special rooms with friends to enjoy it together, but it's one ticket per person

Chibi-Chan 11th December 2020 05:04 PM

^that's good to know, thank you for the info. Maybe I'll try it then =)

mi|kshake 11th December 2020 10:44 PM

Good to know there's a chance of us able to stream it but, yeah, I agree it's a shame Avex are excluding overseas fans. I was hoping they were going to start to include us in more streams

Evan Odinson 12th December 2020 12:12 AM

Well correct me if I'm mistaken but for what I read on Twitter overseas fans couldn't buy Kumi's last album fan club edition, it was restricted for foreign fans or something like that and of course it's Avex being a mess, also they really need the money so I don't get why they're putting more restrictions now :rolleyes

Bought my ticket but not sure if it will work! We'll see~

Sweet idea.

And let's have another Daybreak moment.

tokyoxjapanxfan 14th December 2020 06:05 AM

It’s kinda sad they didn’t even mention the video that was organized by the international community, considering this is basically the same thing lol.

I didn’t take part in the original project, so I’m glad I’ll have this opportunity, but it would’ve been nice for the recognition.

Katsuyuki012 14th December 2020 07:00 AM

Wish I could take part but alas, it's limited to TA. Makes sense to limit the number of people etc but it would have been nice to finally be a part of under the same sky (and a project that Ayu actually acknowledges).

EndOfTheWorld 14th December 2020 06:36 PM

I'm also bummed it is limited to TA only.:(

Yongae's post is giving me good vibes.
Instagram translation: "Take a walk while listening to yesterday's rehearsal sound source. Yesterday, with the arrangement of the countdown "That song", it was so wonderful that I almost cried, but after all, even if I listen back today, I almost cried.. Ayu's song is a mixture of hope and despair, and it is often painful to the heart. Even a song that sounds bright at first glance has a wide range of interpretation from a very deep point. The listener may find the answer based on the person's present or past. I'll do my best to express that part with the chorus"

Aderianu 15th December 2020 04:15 PM

She probably talks about TA live?

I guess they are rehearsing both Christmas and CDL lives simultaneously, but I expect some more intimate on the first one. Maybe just her back dancers and a minimum band (acoustic set).

She is talking about the song used during countdown. Also that part about the bright songs can mean that the song used is a hopeful one that resonates differently now and reduces you to tears.

I am hoping for Daybreak, Heartplace or Dreamed a Dream :yes

Regarding "ayumi hamasaki COUNTDOWN LIVE 2020-2021 A ~MUSIC for LIFE~" following the suspension of late-night train services on New Year's Eve

Thank you for your continued support of ayumi hamasaki.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government has requested railroad operators and the national government to suspend all-night operations on New Year's Eve due to the increased number of people expected to visit the city during the year-end and New Year's holidays, which may increase the risk of infection by the new coronavirus.

In light of those circumstances, we are now deliberating on how to deal with Countdown Live, and whether or not it will still take place, since it is currently scheduled to be held on New Year's Eve.

There will be another update regarding the outcome and decisions made from our deliberations, which will be made available on ayumi hamasaki official website on December 21st (Mon) at 18:00.

We kindly ask for your patience until then.

Aderianu 17th December 2020 12:40 PM

Maybe ayu will change the start time... Hope live will not be cancelled

maxikot 17th December 2020 12:50 PM

They could also do it one day earlier.
