This album is pretty promising. There's something different in her style this time.. i am definitly buying this album after hearing the previews. REally glad she is doing something with her music.

Holy crap! I was sooooo not expecting this, but it was a much welcomed surprised. Also...I'm surprised no one has caught this...but if you play the preview of 'my name's WOMEN'...it says 'my name's WOMAN'.

About the CMs stuff, nah, the previews sound much much better than the CMs, and in my name's WOMEN I actually didn't find any tempo difference :P Catcher In The Light sounds pretty different from a typical ayu song...I wonder if she got some lessons with "hitomi" LOL I really loved Liar! I can't wait to listen to this album as a whole. about some of the songs being fillers: I honestly haven't seem one JPOP artist who has not put fillers in their album this year: ELT, Ayaka Hirahara, BoA, Koda Kumi, hitomi, tokyo jihen, ai otsuka...all made albums full of fillers and forgettable songs. I actually think MY STORY has a lot of different/unique songs. |

At first glance, hey! Nice titles (Catcher In The Light was a surprise! Sounds sweet and intelligent), though I regarded HONEY with lots of dread. Of the new songs, HOPE or PAIN and HAPPY ENDING stand out the most to me… And Humming 7/4, of course (admit it, it's too damned addictive for anyone to not sing along after one listen!). The others were great, too, or at least very listenable! Can't have too many outstanding songs on one album, otherwise it'd feel a bit weird… The songs which have been released sound as wonderful as they were pre-album, although the previews covered different parts of the CM themes. Plus I must say how surprised I am to know MY STORY has only two instrumental tracks (WONDERLAND and Kaleidoscope)! Two out of seventeen, wow! And they're really soothing, somehow… The beginning was more rock than the ending, but there seems to be a definite progression from rock to pop. Everybody go, everybody jump! Make a pre-order now! |

I am SO HAPPY this album is loaded with a bunch of boring ballads. The songs all sound pretty promising (except for humming 7/4 and possibly Honey "MY HONEYYYYY" haha). I can't wait to hear the full versions Catcher in the Light and Liar <3 Lots of rock songs which is good ^.^ I'm a bit concerned that some of the songs are going to sound like typical jpop music though :( |

OMG.
ok so I lied. I had to hear them. I'm really liking how About You is going to sound... I also like the sounds of Liar, HOPE or PAIN, walking Proud HONEY sounds like Angel's Song to me And you know, humming 7/4 sounds like Independent+ and Flower Garden..so I'm thinking it MAYBE might have the extra song at the end. This looks like a good album though, I always love hearing new Ayu songs |

i really listening to this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so in the end there are a total of 17 tracks , where 3 is some interludes!!!!!!!!!!! HONEY sounded so much like Angel's song Hope or Pain was really cool!!!!!!!! I like these previews ^^ make mi cant wait for the release of the new album!!!!! >.< |
