I randomly found it on a mp3 site and it was so catchy and I tried to find more of her songs cause she sounded so awesome! I love this song :D

Ayumi Hamasaki - evolution
I was trying to find more BoA songs, and instead I tumbled upon a lady named "Ayumi". So I gave her a try and picked this song. It was very upbeat and soon enough I was memorising the lyrics!

Puffy Ami Yumi - Teen Titans Theme Song
Okay, I was a TT fan back then, I loved that theme song but I always caught it at the end and never the full song. So I found it and it was in japanese! Catchy ne?

miyavi - ken morituma love song (I'm sure I spelt it WRONG)
Oh wow, a random love song on an mp3 site, and downloaded it. His voice sounded so scratchy and I never wanted to listen to that song again (I do now..) buuut.. It lead me to find more of myv's songs =)

Utada Hikaru - Hikari (Remix)
Yeaah~ I was so into Jpop at the time (I still am) I HAD to look for Hikki's songs! (KH brought me to notice her music) No explanation, this song rocks~

Notice how most are upbeat songs.

Kumi Koda - TAKE BACK ~English Version~
- This is actually the song that got me into Jpop in the first place. I picked the single up at FYI because it was like only $3. I went online to find her official site to see if there was an album and I ended up coming across some other Jpop sites. It was history from there...

DOUBLE - Party Time
- This song is actually a track off DOUBLE's 3rd album "Vision" but at the time I didn't know that. I believe I got it off a mp3 rotation site and was hooked. It might be a simple R&B track but for some reason I'm in love with it.

SOULHEAD - Step to the new World
- Another Mp3 I ended up running up on at an mp3 rotation site. I remember listening to it and was like "OMG this is HOT". Been a fan of theirs ever since.

MISIA - ESCAPE
- Yes I use to be a Mp3 rotation site junkie and this was a song I stumbled up on. This song was so fast and powerful that I was literally shocked. I had never heard a song like that (even in the A-pop industry) so it definetly left a impression on me.

hitoe - Inori
I got this mp3 off WINMX and I fell in love with it. I don't know why but this may be my favorite song of all time. I know U guys are saying "she must be crazy" because hitoe's voice isn't the greatest in the world but something about this song is extremely catchy. I just saw the video on YOUTUBE and it made me fall in love with the song all over again.

I downloaded this song cuz it's the Kelly Chen (HK singer) covered the song. I was like... wow the Japanese version is much better. ALSO hikki was the one bringing me into JPop world :D (Ayu boosted the process btw LOL)

FFX-2. That's all :P. She didn't look that sexy to me in the beginning.. ;).

I didn't practically listen to the song. It's just my bro played the song while I was around in my room. I didn't like her until 680 yen :P

CHEMISTRY - PIECES OF A DREAM
I remember this single debuted on the week when ayu's NEVER EVER was released. I looked at the cover and thought they "look" quite promising, so I downloaded the song. It's still one of the best CHEM songs ever :D

I was on some Thai website and a short clip of the song came on along w/ a pic of Namie wearing all black w/ those cool half gloves of hers. First song by Namie was SO CRAZY. I listened to it non stop for months. Learned all the dance moves too.

I really liked her voice and she had very pretty lyrics in both English and Japanese.

Otsuka Ai - Sakuranbo (My brother was playing it in the car. I thought it sounded like a chipmunk, so I didn't care for it as much. My first REAL experimentation was Kingyo Hanabi.)

Utada Hikaru - First Love (This is the one JPOP song EVERYONE in Hawaii that's younger than 30 HAS to know. And I mean almost EVERYONE that heard JPOP had heard of this song. I LOVE it.)

Koda Kumi - 1000 no kotoba (LOL, I'm the different one from FFX-2. Everyone started with real Emotion, I start with 1000 words. It's a nice ballad. She gives Yuna the feeling she needed that Jade didn't really give.)

Morning Musume - LOVE MACHINE (My brother watched the PV and performances nonstop [like me now!], so I ended up loving this song SO much. LOL, this is the one song that basically rejuvenated my love for Hello! Project.)

Biyuuden - Ajisai AI Ai Monogatari (I love their PV! I stumbled across it since I wanted to really hear Rika sing solo. Then I fell n love with them. x3)

Suzuki Ami - Delightful (This is my favorite song from her! I like how it sounds trance, and her voice really matches the music. Lucky I started with this.)

ORANGE RANGE - Hana (My brother was playing this in the car, and my sister had it in her iPod playlist. I really like their ballads, and my upbeat song is ishin denshin!)

SMAP - Lion Heart (I forget the dorama... I think it went by the same name. But this song really got me into them. not as deep as the females, but I really like their stuff.)

BoA - Every Heart ~minna no kimochi~ (I was experimenting with all the Inuyasha artists, and got this. I still listen to it occasionally, but it's my favorite ballad from her. I like Dakishimeru and Listen to my Heart.)

Kuraki Mai - Reach for the Sky (I x3 this song. I even have the single! This is a nice song to sing to. Easy.)

w-inds. - Because of You (My friend sent this to me last year. They're not my favorite vocally, but their dancing is pretty good. I think they should eat some more rice though.)
