I didn't think (m)u would go over 875k sales, but if it keeps on like this there's all possibilities it'll go a long way further.

Thanks for the update, lets hope that Startin' will be back on the charts for next week ^^.

truehappiness 6th July 2006 12:56 AM

A BALLADS; people.

Do we even know if that was Oricon certified? O_O;

immel 6th July 2006 01:01 AM

^What do you mean?

truehappiness 6th July 2006 01:03 AM

Well, certified by Oricon to have sold 1million+.. XD

I think that the Startin' thing doesn't mean that it hasn't sold.. it's just that some things have sold more / a lot of new singles were released, thus pushing like, everything else back. O_O

immel 6th July 2006 01:07 AM

As soon as a single exits the top 200 ORICON stops counting it's sales, even Ayus very old singles is still selling today and would probably have a couple of thousand, if not tens of thousand more sales, that hasn't been counted by ORICON throughout the years. Startin' is of course still selling, but it seems it dropped out of the charts.

About A BALLADS I don't know, the only source I have for that is wikipedia *shivers*.

truehappiness 6th July 2006 01:36 AM

It'll pop back into the top 200 soon.. hopefully. :p

Some people said it was certified but I tried finding a news thread about it here but I couldn't find it.

Bye bye STartin', you're out!

(m)u is still doing well.. *_* AMazing. 900 000 is possible.

immel 7th July 2006 12:31 AM

I belive it's because of the release of BLUE BIRD and it's heavy promotion that (m)u sales is still doing decently, but I belive it'll drop out of the charts quite soon after.

Which week of sales for (m)u is this anyway? Didn't MY STORY chart for like 46 weeks or something?

^Thanks for the info!

What about the A single? It was re released twice with the two gold editions, shouldn't it have charted for very long aswell?

What's your source for those numbers? I guess wikipedia, it tells me A charted for 17 weeks.

I don't trust wikipedia all too much >_>

Well I think this is only a 1 person thing and all of its things are right, so it's trustworthy to me.

Yes, Ayu isn't exactly big in Korea. The biggest jpop singers in there are Mika Nakashima; Hirai Ken; Tokyo Jihen; Koda Kumi and GACKT.

I just watched coutdown and it seems BLUE BIRD is 3rd but at the end of the show(kind of summary?), it says 9th, I don't really understand.

edit : there are so many charts in CDTV, I don't get anything ...

Brittany 8th July 2006 08:20 PM
