ninki's polls don't mean anything, i expect hitomi's album to open higher than 50K in it's first week. ^o^ hopefully

Not to be pessimist, but I really doubt it will do 50k even in the long run. "TRAVELER" only sold 69k and it stayed 8 weeks in the top 200. The market has weakened since the release of her last album. I predict "LOVE CONCENT" to sell 20k in its first week, although I have no doubt it will do well on downloads. :)

I also kinda doubt it will do well on the charts. That sucks, but it's reality.

I'm listening to it right now, and I love it. Really, it's perfect. Top notch. There's no other word to describe it. For those who didn't like "TRAVELER" (just like me), I think you're going to be surprised by "LOVE CONCENT"'s greatness. :D

Quick review:

Loveholic: I really like this intro. I like the "background voice" of hitomi talking. (Except when the voice turns really low!) The piano and the birds are soothing. It really puts you in the mood for the next song! (I also like the new title, better than just "intro"!)

アラビアン・ドリーミング: I'm quite impressed with this song! I didn't really loved the preview so much at first. The verses are simply amazing. The chorus is okay. Not good enough though. (Probably why I didn't like the preview.) Definitely different from what she had done before!

アイ ノ コトバ: Love this song, of course! Who doesn't? It's catchy, refreshing, cute and cool! It's such a fun song. Verses, chorus, bridge, instrumental, melody... Simply amazing! =D

change yourself: This is officially my favorite track from the album! I just love everything. It's good to see hitomi singing that kind of style again! The instruments and melody... WOW! It's incredible how it's like... 10000000 times better than the original song! (This song is a cover.) Love the drums. ^^

恋愛飛行: This song reminds me of the "WHY?" and "Hi Hi Hi" type of songs, but deeper. Which I love, love, love! I really like this song. I love how it starts a little darker and the chorus becomes cuter.

Love Angel: This song is her best from her latest singles! Such a beautiful song. I never get tired of it. It's sweet and cute. Very addictive. An impressive song! ^^

GO MY WAY: This song is okay for me. When it came out, I liked it. But I kinda got tired of it. It's quite catchy and kinda fun. But I guess something's missing.

CRA"G"Y☆MAMA: I absolutely love this song! Gotta love the *ring-ring* "Are you out of your mind?" part. =P I don't know why, but the song really puts you in a certain mood. Kind of a mystery mood.

Day-O: Ummm, why is this song so awesome? =P The instruments are simply genius. It's really soothing. Very cool song!

LOST emotion in DARKNESS: Never really been a huge fan of this song. It's different. The sound (sort of latina beat thing?) isn't exactly the kind I like. I'm not a fan of the chorus but I like the verses.

Japanese girl: I didn't like this song at first, but I started to like it after a few listen. It's cool and fun! Very catchy and certainly fun to sing to! I really love the part after the 2nd chorus! Very awesome song.

LOVE CONCENT: This album track is okay for me. It feels kinda... Christmas-y for me though. XD But overall, it's okay. Good, not great.

so you: I love this song! Such a beautiful and sweet ballad. I love hitomi's ballads. And it's a very good ending to the album. I love hitomi's album endings, this one isn't an exception!

Album Art: I really like those covers. I think they'll look even better in real life. I had a little problem with the font at first, but I think it fits now. Though, the placements of the text isn't wonderful. Hoping someone could share the booklet pictures! And... What's wrong with the no-pants picture? It's not like she isn't wearing panties! XD

Why?: What I didn't like...
1) "LOST emotion in DARKNESS" shouldn't have been in the album. Or at least, replace it with "Escape".
2) "GO MY WAY". Because I don't really like that song so much.
3) "LOVE CONCENT" wasn't a good enough title track.

u evil person above me "lost emotion in the darkness" was actually rumored to be a single but they went with "Go my way" its a good song cuz its different and powerful i know will eat you and ur avatar and siggy muhahahahaha just playing ^.^ tis love

I liked the album, definitely a step up from the atrocity that was Traveler, but still nowhere near the brilliance that was Thermo Plastic and Love Life. Lost emotion in Darkness was a highlight for me, mostly cos I missed it when it was released on the single, so this was the best 'new' song for me. The ballady tracks did nothing for me, especially Love Angel - till this date I still don't understand why it was made a single cos the song bores me to death. Nice stuff, but she should've stuck to more of the loud, glam pop that made Japanese girl though.

^^ I wouldn't like an album with many "Japanese girl"-like songs. I'm happy there's only one song like that.
