It'll be nice with an extra DVD with backstage footage, it's been lacking in the previous CDL DVD releases that's only 1 DVD.

true. CDL dvds cost already that much and so if they sell A BEST this way, a lot of people will buy it. Its a great marketing scheme like they did with kumi.

wow this is so special. having 2 different versions with absolutely DIFFERENT contents. i am so gonna buy both versions. but since CDL 0607 will be in the 2nd dvd, there wun be any separate dvd for CDL 0607?

and also i find it weird that ayu uses BLACK and WHITE to differentiate the 2 versions. it sounds as if the BLACK version will be titled "A BEST 2 - BLACK" and the WHITE version will be "A BEST 2 - WHITE". lol..

and yeah. hope they have different covers.

i hope this album does very well other than the ill fated Secret which bored alot of people and wasn't accepted by many but this album is who ayu was and how she made the jpop scene as it is now hopefully this album hits 990,000 on its debut

Seriously... that's lovely news! I'm kind of glad it's not all "rock" on black and "ballad" on white, because as someone else said, A BALLADS didn't do so hot, and we all predicted it so this way it mixes it up a bit more.

And now for those who haven't looked up the translations, we can kind of know which songs are sad and which ones are happy!! hehe. *well, the ones that aren't so obvious*

If this whole BEST 2 thing is actually two albums... it's surely gonna flop. Not everyone will buy both versions, so I suppose the sales, which could be potentialy high, will be divided in two... e.g. instead of one album with 600,000k sales, there'll be two on the list with 300,000 sales... if they do that, both releases will be easily beaten by somebody else...

They should count both BLACK and White as one album (one entry) if they want higher Oricon charting. There is obviously no difference when it comes to the income from the album, so hell knows what Avex is going to do...
Secret was a great, sharp and well-defined pop-rock album. (miss)understood was a bland pop-rock album, with tracks that barely differed from each other (criminal / (miss)understood) and standard-sounding interludes.

But I agree it was seen as another Ayu album, plus the appeal/popularity decrease and recent sales decrease...

Well not really. You would be losing the people who would be buying all 4 versions of the album because they are hardcore fans/they are collectors. These people would only be buying 2 versions instead of 4.
