Really? That quite suprised me.

I suppose the germans prefer swing to country ay?

maxikot 13th May 2007 12:09 AM

Serbia won ;) I must say that i wasy a bit surprised but... that's fine :) Ukraine was funny xD The whole show was great i must say and the Santa xD Besides the show after voting, it took my breath away. Great final ;)

micster 13th May 2007 12:10 AM

Bah Serbia.

At least the UK dident come last, We're still in the game.

truehappiness 13th May 2007 12:14 AM

wtf Serbia?

maxikot 13th May 2007 12:14 AM

Oh and organisation of whole concert was very good. For the first time ever it ended punctually! Really organised in impressive way.

micster 13th May 2007 12:20 AM

I reckon im gonna apply next year for 'making your mind up'

Dawnie 13th May 2007 12:46 AM

Yet another example of block voting. I was surprised when the UK got twelve points but so glad we didn't come last-second to last. I though Hungary was amazing

Marquez 13th May 2007 12:53 AM

Weee! Gratz Serbia! :yes Thank God Ukraine didn't win. :D (just joking.. no offend) Quite a great show, after all.
Almost all in the top ten were from Eastern Europe, btw.

Isthan 13th May 2007 01:50 AM

I'm glad that Finland was able to arrange such a great show. Lordi's performance was amazing!

My TOP3:
- Serbia (powerful, it deserved to win!)
- Ukraine (crazy, I'm sooo in love with this!)
- Georgia (so stylish and elegant!)

// oh, btw, I'm very suprised that Sweden did that bad... I thought The Ark was everyone's favorite but I guess not...

Sakura_Genki 13th May 2007 02:06 AM

I first thought that the person performing for Serbia was a man, until later on when I saw her and found out it was a woman.

XFER 13th May 2007 05:11 AM

Our cable company (I'm in México) ditched the channel where I used to watch Eurovision :( So I couldn't watch!!

But... SERBIA??????? That song sucked so much!

I wanted Spain to win, that was a great song. Turkey also, glad he made it to number 4.

Cyria 13th May 2007 10:10 AM

Serbia's song wasn't bad.

Finland got more points than I expected. 17th place is decent for us.

I don't like Krisse (blonde extra host in pink) and I wasn't happy when she showed up. Did people in other countries, who don't know her TV show persona, get the joke or were they wondering what on earth was going on? It seemed like it would mostly be funny to Finns but not so much the others watching.

maxikot 13th May 2007 10:47 AM

Krisse was funny, she played stupid blond and she succeded xD I think Serbia's song is really good after listening it during final performance. It's good that not 3'rd class pop song won but the very good and stylish one. She didn't have to use any fantastic dance moves or ever fireworks. She just sung a good song in a good way. Eurovision is going in the right direction I think, couse it's not the country but song that won.

Raleigh 13th May 2007 10:55 AM

Hm... sorry to say but I thought that the quality of the songs was lower than the last three years. None of the songs stood out that much like the previous years. Just my opinion but the winners of the last few years were powerful, strong and impressive and this years is just... dunno.

Azmaria 13th May 2007 11:22 AM

well I was quite satisfied that germany wasn't on the last spot, I think they did good by getting in 19th place, that suprised me, the worst germany entry was 2 years ago with Gracia with Run & Hide OMG how I hated that song

micster 13th May 2007 01:44 PM

My torrent finished and I wondered if I could upload the CD for everyone cos its not american

And ofcause if people want it

Halla 13th May 2007 01:48 PM

^ I suppose you could if you want to, to the asian media forum (cos it's closed from public).

I don't think it'll ever be released in the US lol

Weslicious 13th May 2007 01:56 PM

All of Europe is prejudiced against Britain :P

Oh well, we own you all and get in automatically anyway :laugh

Seriously though, as if Serbia deserved to win. For one thing, what the hell was she and secondly it was so politically motivated. And that really does take away from the enjoyment. Not to sound offensive but if Western Europe didn't put money into the show Eastern Europe would have no show to block vote for.

Hungary had an amazing voice. Wasn't the right song for Eurovision though.

Mari-chan 13th May 2007 02:09 PM

For me... the best song was the song from Finland.
And.. serbia wins the contest. Hmm.. I don't really like that song.
And.. the second Place for Ukraine? "Sieben, sieben, I love you, Sieben, sieben, eins, zwei, drei"... what the hell was that? Horrable.
Ok.. than.. with ****, you will get a good place.
But.... Germany is only on the 19th place. (-.-) Worse than last year. But.. the german act really was bad. When I heard, Roger Cicero will sing for Germany, I couldn't belive it. It is such a bad song.
Last year, Germany had a good act.. but only the 15th place. What a pity.

Eurovision was on many cases politically motivated, but this year it was more obvious. Like in the last few years the most impressive songs still won but this year... the winner didn't impress me. It does take away the enjoyment indeed, especially since you get to see so many good artists ignored just because they're not from the East Europe block or something.
