Sometimes Tinnitus can be temporary. It depends on the damage done to the ear, if there's trauma. ..The first few times I had it, it went away after a while. But now it doesn't go away at all, and there's nothing to cure it.

I wonder if, besides tinnitus and hearing loss, ayu feels vertigo as well...she's been tripping for no apparent reasons in some of her concerts/performances...I hope she doesn't suffer with it too.:no

That's like they saying:

"Oh evidences is that ayu probably has a headache because her toenail hurts." Maybe for the average reader that don't understand about headaches and toenail pain will think that's normal. For someone who understands will read that and find it absurd.

Point taken. :)

Why does it look like her face is melting in that pic? .__.

None of the articles I've seen have put up flattering pictures of her...

How did I not notice this article when I have BBC as my home page? :thud I should pay more attention.

I'm surprised that BBC picked up on this as well. I didn't think this would be in the news of countries other than Japan's.

That's why she fell right before DOME TOUR 2001 started. I'm not sure if that's why she fell at some other performances, though...

Ah yes.. thats it. Sometimes.. it is temporary.. and sometimes not.
I have it for such long years.. I don't think, it will disappear sometimes.
And... last year, I had a loud noise again on the right side.. and since that, it becomes a litte bit worse.

I'm surprised, too. The fact that it was on the front page, too, is quite interesting, and not solely in the Japanese news section...

Edit: Okay so it doesn't seem to be on the front page per se, but in the Asia-Pacific section. Still that's an accomplishment--at quite a loss, of course.

That is just unusual. How could the news go around the world? I don't know why...

anyways, I think Ayu appearing in a significant western news outlet is important enough to warrant it's own topic.

i agree that the picture choice isnt the greatest...if it showed the entire pic, with her sparkly/reflecting dress, it would look better...haha.

but anyway...it's really incredible that it makes all these headlines...:(

KuroixShiroi_Namida 8th January 2008 12:14 AM

Lol i went to the newsagent to buy todays newpaper and i asked for yesterdays one too. Too bad no ayu in it even though it's on their site >.<!

Bad Wolf 8th January 2008 12:17 AM

^ The website allows more range for their coverage. And Ayu wasn't on their front page, but featured specifically in the Asia-Pacific section.

That's really sad D: I should do something drastic to myself so I get on the news.
