I think it's gonna be a fight between Ayu, Kobukuro and EXILE, until Koda releases "Kingdom". I don't see other big album release that are huge for the next 2 weeks. Unless Tohoshiki ends up selling a lot. I'm not really sure if they are popular in Japan. I guess they are a little.

Ayu should have released her album this week or next week. Her #1 position would be 100% secured.

I'm not sure of all the releases out on the next few weeks before Koda's album, but the biggest artist I know is Tohoshinki. And they sold like 26,686 copies on the first week for their latest album.

tohoshinki are maybe a threat for misono =P if she had her album on the same day with them... or is she a threat to them? lol...

ayu is really great to maintain her carier better than other artist that debut in the same era as her...look at misia, mai kuraki, chemistry, ami suzuki, aiuchi rina...their sales has become so bad

MISIA only sells a fraction of what she used to sell. kinda shame really, but her music just has changed to really bland and she has lost her fanbase.

I think MISIA still holds a record that Ayu hasn't beaten & most likely ever will. MISIA has the best selling japanese remix album "MISIA remix 2000 Little Tokyo".

Kuu can outsell Chemistry, even if Kindgom ends up selling only half of the amount Black Cherry sold.

Kingdom's sales will not be as high as BC but still it has a high chance of having above-than-average sales..

hmm and i think GUILTY will most probably outsell Secret.

for some reason I think kingdom will sell well...and might end up more than black cherry...I used to predict it ending up selling around (m)u...but seeing how all the 2008 albums are doing so well, it might sell better than expected. Plus look at the content!

Let's just pary ayu's wota will help her to number one this week! Can't she schedual a surprise "deaf" signing or something?

I'm still surprised that avex didn't take advantage of this yet since they tend to take advantage of every situation. I mean they made a whole show about misono's supposed overweight problem.

^ Yeah, I thought it was weird too. I thought for sure they would move Ayu's album to be released when she wasn't going up against such music industry heavyweights such as Kobukuro. Oh well, at least Ayu is still doing amazingly for a solo artist. I wonder whom Koda Kumi will face with Kingdom...

Well, that's something you can get out of if you have enough discipline. Ayumi's situation is different from that, there's nothing she or anyone else, for that matter, can do about it.
