Ayu_no_tenshi 22nd May 2008 05:17 AM

i'm sooooooooooooo glad i didn't make the plans to go this year like i was going to!

hiroshi_ben 22nd May 2008 07:22 AM

i thought they would let kuu to close the shows..haha

se7entheaven 22nd May 2008 07:31 AM

I like the sentence "ayumi hamasaki is the biggest japanese Singer of all time, no one can compares her etc.." GREAT

prussian blue 22nd May 2008 07:58 AM

lol no ayu no boa?

well at least TRF, kuu and ami is still there~

but i wonder who will go there to watch although there's no ayu?

*raise hand*

Well, Ming Pao is kinda a more respectable newspaper in Hong Kong. XD;; It's not like the article's by Apple Daily or anything. Not that I've read the entertainment section of Ming Pao before.

If Ayu isn't partcipating, I hope she gets some rest. =) I'd love to see stats of the A-nation ticket sales and how Ayu's absence has affected the show. XDD

wenren93 22nd May 2008 09:48 AM

(artists basically on loan from other companies) When I went to A-Nation last year Remioromen played. So I've never believed that Namie being with different management was the reason for her not participating; I'm not sure what the reason is. But for sure she would be a suitable closer for them in their anniversary year because prior to Ayu's huge popularity, Avex's biggest star was definitely Namie.

But anyway, it seems from reading the article, that it is still speculation at this point that Ayumi won't be attending, but it is certainly looking that way.

a-nation for artists managed by Avex (Rhythm Zone belongs to Avex), they usually invite just one special quest from another management company. it could be Namie tho.
how the artists are affliated with Avex is not always obvious. for example, Mihimaru GT are under Universal Music Japan but their management company belongs to Avex group.

Maybe it's Ayu herself who doesn't want to do A-nation anymore?
it always seemed like Ayu was just used to draw the crowds and then having these artists who could never do arenas perform for them while people all just want to see the grande finale.
Ayu & Kuu & EXILE have their own arena tours, seems sorta pointless for them to do a-nation anyways IMO.

WHY...WHY...WHY...i think Koda Kumi will take her place(ONLY FOR THIS YEAR)

majrakun 22nd May 2008 10:28 AM

Hah. Al;ready mentioned in the other thread that ticket sells won't be as much.

And all this while I thought a-nation means Avex nation seeing how the artists are from Avex. XD

LacusClyne 22nd May 2008 10:28 AM

i would rather ayu focus on her 10th anniversary tour then performing on a nation, i want her to rest too.

but i really miss ayu's goodies on a nation, looks like i won't get the DVD this year. I'm not going to spend the money just because of kuu's performance, i only get it because of BOTH of them

MeruChan 22nd May 2008 10:47 AM

A-nation is going to suck this year! But, we can enjoy quality performance from her tour! Yay! I am happy actually! We'll get to see how this impacts the sale of tickets for a-nation.

BoBo 22nd May 2008 10:59 AM

A - nation without Ayumi is quite a loss...

freedreamer 22nd May 2008 12:42 PM

aww mann...but well, it shows that she will be touring in ASIA during those months...
and im looking forward to AT08...and freak! it costs 2 billion yen more!!? hahaha

haha yea, i also think Ayu has a lot of power...which is impressive

Dustie 22nd May 2008 01:14 PM

No wonder. She deserves a rest, her current tour is enough.

She could do an exception and appear in Hokkaido though, where she missed her a-nation performance last year, right?

wow, that must be sooo bad >< i'm sorry

ayumisrael 22nd May 2008 01:43 PM

Maybe ayu won't release a summer single this year so she won't have new song that fits a-nation =P

TITANIC 22nd May 2008 01:51 PM

yaiiy.. decreasing of ticket sales without ayu.. XD

Mari-chan 22nd May 2008 02:18 PM

Welll she has to do her Tour... thats no Problem, if she isn't there a year. She surely will be at A-Nation again next year.

kendelle 22nd May 2008 02:30 PM

No Ayu and no BoA?

Sounds like it'll be a dull one this year! ^^; I'm sure it will still be an enjoyable experience and still wish I could go!!
