Unless, I'm wrong though, they said physical condition. I think that could mean a lot more than just her disability in her ear. I just don't think it's entirely fair that people are call this poll lame though. I mean, this could mean at a lot as this is a look on how a companies may view her on certain things.

Though those reasons really might won't be good to pick them for CMs.

Do you guys think the ayu would ever do another d-snap CM?

as we know the D-snap uses earphones, so to be honest, if they make her do those CMs again, in a way, she would be faking it, and the product wouldn't sell well. So my guess here is that PANSAONIC knew about her condition and decided no to use ayu for the last products for d-snap.

She wasn't even wearing the earphones on the wallpapers.

I think that she can't be the spokeswomen for the d-snap anymore, it could hurt both PANASONIC and ayu.

I don't think she'll do the d-snap anymore either, but she'll most likely continue promoting the Lumix products. Maybe she'll promote some other Panasonic product in place of d-snap.

I read that as, "Her perfect look would be too unrealistic." I didn't realize it was because of her deafness. Kinda silly if you ask me.

seriously? Take koda kumi for example. After her infamous "rotten amniotic fluid" thing she said in public, many people started to hate on her. Her sales dropped. Now, if you had a company trying to sell a product, would you take the risk of hiring kuu to endorse that product, when there's a great likelihood that people will associate their anger for kuu with that product? No way...I don't see how it's a complete BS at all.

What Kuu said was stupid, sure, but Kuu is the exception on that list, not the rule. Her inclusion is a valid reason, I'll admit that, but the other women? "Past her expiry date?" "Reminds people of divorce?" What the hell? I wasn't aware that if you had a pair of ovaries you had an expiry date as far as your interest was concerned. Maybe these women should just pack it up and go live in a cave somewhere. :rolleyes

Maybe companies that have no relation to sound products will have no problem taking ayu (unless she's too expensive for them). XD
Therfore she's 10 on the list too and not on one of the high places.
Like out of 145 companies maybe just 40-50 voted for her with that reason.
Maybe even less companies it's just estimated.

Kose had a contract with kuu way before that problem happened. If they decided to keep her though, they were obviously aware that there were risks to be taken but maybe for them specifically, the benefits would be better because even with people thinking what kuu said was rotten, they still might find her pretty and sexy, and the lipsticks and w/e market wouldn't be as affected (hypothetical example). However, I doubt all those companies interviewed work with what kose works. Maybe some of them sell products for 35+ "rotten amniotic fluid" (according to kuu) women? who knows :laugh...The fact she was pointed out for that problems and that many companies would avoid advertising with kuu does not mean NO company would ever use her for advertising.


Some of those companies might sell stuff for the younger audience or maybe for the male audience? In that aspect, a more mature woman wouldn't be interesting for them and maybe they'd prefer someone younger and fresher. The reason "past the expiry date" sounds very harsh, but I can see the point LOL
Reminding people of divorce: what if some of the products are jewelry and stuff related to a man presenting a woman? Divorce could affect the sales LOL Also, we have to see we're talking about Japn, not the US. Maybe divorce there is much more a tabooo than in certain other countries, so a recently divorced woman might give a really uneasy feeling to the public? i dunno...
