Hopefully it's not true. :no

GRACE 9th August 2008 12:28 AM

I wouldn't mind the Orchestra version of Ashita e no Sanka though

AyUta 9th August 2008 12:37 AM

Oh no, that sounds like it would be pretty :yes VERY pretty :laugh

octocoffee 9th August 2008 12:39 AM

Blech, having both versions would be lame. Japanese lyrics at least add a possibly different dimension to the song, since they need to word it so it goes along with the original melody. The orchestra version of Ashita e no Sanka would be interesting. People are silly.

I really hope Kaze no Tegami is a "Sennen no Niji"-esque song. What do you guys want Kaze no Tegami to sound like?

GRACE 9th August 2008 12:45 AM

I want Kaze no Tegami to be a ballad, but unlike the ballads she's done so far, I want it to be sort of a sad ballad. Ashita e no Sanka, Hitotsu and Natsukashii Mirai are all pretty uplifting, I kinda want a depressing song.

CHE.R.RY 9th August 2008 12:54 AM

^ I agree. A sorrowful ballad (maybe something like Heart,War) would be interesting to hear. I'm a little tired of heart warming/uplifting ballads.

Re:★ 9th August 2008 12:54 AM

You both want something depressing? Weirdos... >.>

Spoiler:
Ha. :P

GRACE 9th August 2008 12:57 AM

Depressing full of emotion songs are always the best! They're the songs that artists are remembered for! alan needs one, and one that's actually good, unlike Heart, War >.>... I really hope the Japanese version will be able to turn me on to this song, I currently don't like it.

Yeah, a depressing song sounds alright actually. :D You don't like Heart, War? :O Can you not feel the power in the chorus?!?!?!?!?!

GRACE 9th August 2008 01:04 AM

Heart, War puts me to sleep, seriously x_x... It's just sort of... long, drawn out, and boring.

First Press bonus is a poster!

CD+DVD: http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/detailview.html?KEY=AVCD-31491

Also, this tracklist is up on Wiki for the single:

1. RED CLIFF ~Kokoro Ikusa~ (~心・戦~; ~Heart, War~)
2. Xin Zhan ~RED CLIFF~ (心战 ~RED CLIFF~)
3. Ashita e no Senka (Orchestral Version) (明日への讃歌; A Hymn for Tomorrow)

Could be wrong though, since it is Wiki

YES ! awesome new ashita e no sanka will sound epically amazing in orchestral im sure nice to see they got Red cliff in both languages, gonna have to save up for alan now ! got ayu's complete singles already bankrupting me...

GRACE 9th August 2008 02:44 AM

I'm slightly confused though, is it Shin Sen or Kokoro Ikusa? I personally like Shin Sen.

I have to admit I agree... it's not as compelling to me as it evidently is to others.

GRACE 9th August 2008 02:46 AM

^But I'll still buy it because I'm a freak like that XD

If I didn't there'd be a hole in my alan collection, since I have the CD-only's of everything else either sitting on my alan table or pre-ordered =/

Zachery! 9th August 2008 03:49 AM

I'm DEF. buying it. XD

GRACE 9th August 2008 03:51 AM

I hope the covers are nice, so that way the poster will be nice =D

XFER 9th August 2008 04:06 AM

I don't think it's lame to include the chinese version of Red Cliff, but if I think that it's taking the space of a possible new b-side, then yes, it's lame!

The song is amazing, I don't see how anyone can fall asleep listening to it :P

paper_doll 9th August 2008 04:07 AM

I think she said on her blog that Kaze no Tegami is sort of rock-ish (if I read that correctly).

...Hmm... Actually, that sounds like it'd be really cool o_o... I now want to hear alan doing a rock song.

Also, totally unexpected out of a song called "Kaze no Tegami" to be rockish o_O
