Very colourful and creative booklet. Even if I'm blinded a little.

Kaiouforever 17th November 2008 12:07 AM

LOL Yeah, it is a pretty cool booklet

~ayu-cake~ 17th November 2008 12:28 AM

I love the booklet pics so much!
I think I might have to pick this up :)

I bought my copy of the Deluxe Edition today :D :love

bondingo 19th November 2008 01:59 AM

It's unfortunate that the album didn't sell very well, but oh well. I have to say that the sales weren't too bad considering it was only sold at one retail chain and was a comp with only four new (well, two if you don't count the revamped ones) tracks, only one of which is actually available online. It's sad to hear that the new direction isn't really catching on, but I'm happy because I enjoy it, and Christina seems to be enjoying herself as usual, so that's really all that matters to me :D

♥ you! 19th November 2008 02:50 AM

wtf I heard that this album sold 70k in one day.

...

Well congrats to Enya! and hopefully Xtina starts to step up her game after seeing the sales for a decade of hits. I have high expectations for her next album.

:laugh Britney is going to own her so hard. Poor Xtina. I imagine ADoH going to have a nice chart life tho. It's sad to see she's losing to David Archuleta, another compilation, and T-Pain. @_@ David's album was okay and I'm glad he's doing good. NOW 29 have some hawt songs this time around. I think I might buy it. T-Pain = overrated He's doing the Circus theme so wrong. :no

I wonder if her next album will be in jeopardy thanks to these poor sales. I've heard that KGB was used to test the waters for her next CD, but if this is any indication, that will be a serious failure.

Luv ~Venus~ 19th November 2008 03:35 AM

^KGB is a great song but it gets old so fast. I seriously don't want her next album's tracks to sound like one another. :no She'll really make me think she's pull'n a Lady Gaga then.

drewbilation 19th November 2008 03:58 AM

uhm... Christina's album is only being sold at Target, while all the other albums are available pretty much everywhere. I'm sure that had something to do with the lackluster sales.

drewbilation 19th November 2008 04:52 AM

The Eagles are one of the biggest rock groups EVER, though. and they have the highest selling album in history, so of course they're going to out-sell Christina. besides, Wal-Mart is about 10x more common than Target... least 'round here. also, it was the first album from The Eagles in, like, a decade and most Christina fans already have the majority of the tracks of "Keeps Gettin' Better," so it's not even comparable.

tbh, the reason I've yet to even get the album myself is because I don't want to drive 45 miles out of the way for it.

The booklet pictures are fantastic. Even though there are no lyrics on it, that properly sucks. I went to the principal store of my city and the album didn't come there yet. Holy cow, I need this now.

Thank you! Took the words right from my mouth! :shughug

I'm so glad Taylor took #1 actually, by a mile aswell. "Fearless" absolutely blew me away, I'd never even heard her music until last week.

Catzi 20th November 2008 04:38 AM

This is also a best album, so it's not like really new stuff. Most people are after a new album.

bondingo 20th November 2008 09:04 PM

OH.MY.GOD.

Thanks for the info bondingo. That awards better be good or I'm going to snap. Hopefully she won't lip sync like she did at the MTV awards.

Am I the only one who thinks the video styling of this commercial would haev served as a better video than the real one? mean seriously she makes this great song then puts out a crappy video.

Luv ~Venus~ 21st November 2008 06:39 PM

^Dude, trust me. You're not the only one. I'm sure plenty of people perferred that CM rather than the original one.

No problem. And I have a feeling it'll be a great performance. I definitely don't think she'll lipsynch either considering the fact that it will be a medley of songs she's done 5,000 times before.

Oh believe me, you are not the only one. The commercial was incredible; the video was an enormous disappointment.
