Overall, I think that the album is just above average. 7/10. While its still some of her best albums to date, Blackout seems to be my favourite. She needs more tracks like Trouble! Even though it kinda rips Madonna's Get Together haha

imo circus is a 9/10, and i have to say i like it better than blackout and in the zone. only thing holding it back is the poor phootshoot and 1 or 2 songs i could do without.

downloaded the album last night, and i just got the "if u seek amy" hahaha britney is awesome! hahaha i can see all the kids and school saying & writing "if u seek amy"
and yes circus is awesome too!i can soo imagine a circus-themed concert - i get all excited just imagining lol |
I keep imagining what music videos would be like to each of the songs! I think they would all be amazing.

Quicksand - Great!! Sounds like Old Britney..but yea, it doesnt really fit into the album...
Trouble - Wow! not that track from VMA07 lol..I LIKE THIS SONG...but yea, I can understand why its a Bonus...it may not have the impact the other songs have Rock Boy - I love the verses..the chorus is ok haha..I think this "rock" song is better than Rock Me In...but ah well..They sound similar in terms of style anyway...Just that Rock Boy has more tune (so i like it more) |

so far am loving: 1. Shattered Glass 2. Amnesia 3. Circus 4. Kill the Lights 5. If U Seek Amy 6. Mannequin 7. Mmm Papi 8. Phonographic 9. Unusual You 10. Out from Under Womanizer of course. I think if Rihanna could release all her songs from Good girl gone Bad album like that, Britney could have more hits with this album. Good job, Brit =) |
This album feels like a fusion of In The Zone and BLACKOUT.
The song that I feel is out of place, the most, would be Out From Under. It's a cover song that was used in the BRATZ movie lol. It just doesn't have emotion to it. Mannequin is strange and fun. Circus is hot. Unusual You is a breath of fresh air from Britney. She did something new-ish. |
Unusual You, Mannequin and Kill the Lights and Trouble are my favorite tracks, easily. Seriously amazing.

The one song that I was actually looking forward to, "Mannequin" and it disappoints me based on the little bit that I had heard earlier that had gotten me interested.
As for the rest of the songs, just not for me. There may be little snippets of a song that I like, but none of them as a whole speak to me. |
