jail sentence? no way~~~

rakeru 22nd May 2009 05:42 AM

that's just ridiculous. setting up the stage without a permit might be a problem, but the walking around part being a problem was invented by people who felt that their pathetic lives were unjustly inconvenienced.

zyoeru 22nd May 2009 05:44 AM

ROFL. This news is pretty funny actually.
Let's face it, if Ayu gets jail time, it'll be a couple of weeks max. Jail will do her no harm anyway, she can write a few lyrics. xD
Actually, let's face it further, Ayu isn't gonna go to jail, she's gonna get a slap on the wrist.

This isn't Ayu's fault anyway, it's her book publishers', why should she have to do all the paperwork for an event she isn't personally hosting?

I also can't imagine Ayumi talking like that to the press, even if she is 100% right. XD

TeddyGrahams 22nd May 2009 05:47 AM

So Ayu needs a permit when she's visiting an EVENT set up by Deji? Wow, if all celebrities who went to the oscars/grammys need a permit to go to a publicized event. Ayu is not at any fault and what she said was completely correct in line. It's not like it's her event. -__- She was only there to support it...

It's not even Avex's fault, it should be only Deji unless Deji is a branch of Avex. For making such an event that cause traffic incidents.

truehappiness 22nd May 2009 05:53 AM

LOL This is hilarious! so as the news :P

I don't think that it is directly her fault though. Basically Kodansha or avex is the one who should be responsible for the whole incident.
It was such a big event. How come no police knew that ayu was going to be there?
Someone (who organised the event) is going to be in trouble~

THANK YOU. I mean we love ayu but this is pretty much the truth. She knew what she was getting into, and her excuse doesn't justify anything. People could've gotten hurt because she did this. Her response to the topic was very rude in my opinion. :( very dissapointed.

Qt Mashi 22nd May 2009 06:55 AM

lol, i'd like to see a video of her saying that statement while smiling!

sugarbasil 22nd May 2009 06:57 AM

I hate to say that Ayu saying, "I should be able to walk wherever I like," comes off as not only a bit snotty, but also irresponsible. Shibuya 109 SHOULD have been told about the event ahead of time for multiple reasons. They NEED to know. You can't just have a celebrity have an event in a extremely populated area and not tell anyone. But that's not Ayu's fault; it's her PR manager. :/

rusuke 22nd May 2009 07:26 AM

OMG! This is shocking...

I think there are pros and cons of this event. It's true that Ayu has the right to go wherever she wants to go but because Ayu is really a big star, avex should have informed some police or traffic regulators so that the mob can be controlled. But really why does Japan ridiculously strict about that? hMmM... No one expected that the 8,000 people will drool over ayu...

thanks for the news!!

RadnasticReggie 22nd May 2009 07:29 AM

They make her seem so evil, and stupid. =S

MissElin_ 22nd May 2009 07:29 AM

Yeah shes a star and all but I really think the the book publishers should have get that permission. She was just a guest of honour or something? :P
And slo, I do think she should walk as she wants, but yes that is a bit hard in here case. Sadly for her.

But I was thinking, big stars cin Japan can walk around easier then in lets say in Hollywood. I remember when Ayu wrote that she was out running and there where this drunk guy screaming after her but nothing more then that. And my friend said that her friend saw Kame (KT) on the subway just like it was normal.

Anyways, offcourse this day was more special since she would promote the book and not was out from a walk... :P Maybe the police department just want some of Avex's money? XD

ALfromHELLSING 22nd May 2009 07:35 AM

Hahaha!! lol This is super stupid, like that scandal with Kumi and those fluids. No... I just can't believe IT IS RIDICULOUS! Japanese people can't be like this, Japanese people are wiser!

njanjayrp 22nd May 2009 07:36 AM

LOl idiots!

zyoeru 22nd May 2009 07:46 AM

About everyone saying about Ayu's statement. This is a GOSSIP MAGAZINE saying she said that.

Believe it when she says it on TV or in a PROPER newspaper, not a tabloid. :/

i totally agree +its not like she was just walking . she went their in a commercial prupose to sell her book.even if she wanted to keep it as a surpised she could have still ask permission to the police . its not because she is famous that she is on top of the law. THIS IS WRONG.8000 is an awfull lot ... imagine the people that needed to go to work on that day and arrived late because of her .:no

but of course because she is famous, no worry she wont go in prison , im sure they will ask her to pay find. that she will through and avex will try to keep it down and quiet as much as possible .

ayu and avex have organized concerts and events before.... its not like they never heard about that permission... i think they did just ignore it .

if i was working in the music industry i would make sure evry event i hold is legal .

i totally agre with all of you guys . her reply is totally rude, innapropriate and immature. she is acting like a diva. she need to act more responssibly.she needs to make excuses on tv to the people that were bother to this event.
