That's what I thought at first, but I think the other person is right. It's a counter for people. It's so confusing but but I think after the third decibel (100) it moves to the next counter if they were implying numbers. Am I right?

i just realized they abbreviate album as "AL" on the cover. that's kind of ugly, haha. but i like the covers. they're cute :)

i'll probably end up getting 2 cd version, because i don't really need the dvd :D

I just HATE the way they gonna release a new album. I could understand if "Best 3" would be a bonus CD for 2CD+DVD version but hey - not to make bonus CD from "Universe" :shakehead I feel it's just to take $$$ from us and solo version of "Universe" will be released a bit later (probably with some bonus tracks to buy it 2nd time) :grumpy

If full studio version of "Trick" won't be on the album we'll have to wait for it even few years (like for "Get It On").

^ i also think it's a cheap trick to get it to sell a lot of copies.

oooh I FINALLY understand the first post's tracklist for BEST ~Third Universe~ & Universe! After checking her official website to help me from my confusion, lol. I thought that the 2CD+DVD version had some alternative tracklist for the BEST CD, but that tracklist was the DVD tracklisting, lol. It all makes sense now :D

I'll be buying [2CD] or [2CD+DVD], depending on the price :) (and I like the 2CD cover way better)
I don't own anything of Koda Kumi, so this will be a good first step!

By the way, any news on first press? What does she usually have as first press for her studio / BEST OF albums? Cardboard sleeve? Poster? I'm curious :)

I just heard the preview for "Can We Go Back" and I think it sounds pretty good. I haven't gotten into a Kuu release since TRICK (actually TABOO, really) so I'm really glad that this sounds promising. :yes

The first press of -first things- came with a slipcase and an extra photobook as well as a bonus track.
The first press of -second session- had a bonus DVD with her -frst things- tour on the 2nd DVD. Also there was a bonus track.

Her studio albums generally come with a bonus track or two, although affection and grow into one came with a slipcase.

So I think we can expect a slipcase with the 2CD+DVD version lol. :yes

Kingdom came with a slipcase, too, but I don't know if it was only for the first press..

That's correct, I forgot. The CD+2DVD was limited anyway, so it would only come with the slipcase until it went out of rpint I think. :yes

This thought occurred to me the other day, actually. So I think I'll probably wait a while to get this album, since it's not like we're getting anything for preordering, anyhow. :o

they could have let everyone buy UNIVERSE on its own but no they have to package it with a best album T_T

You know, after a while it's going to be pointless buying her original albums if she's going to release a compilation album every year or so. However, the package deal is pretty good if you're a Kuu-fan that hasn't bought anything in the last two years.

I just don't like the covers for the BEST album. The wigs she's wearing are pretty cheap looking imo.

^ I didn't think she was wearing a wig.. if she is it's the most realistic looking one she's ever worn.

^ I also was sure that was real hair! 'Cause I mean, I can always tell whenever Kumi has a wig on. Because for whatever reason, whether they're cheap, or she doesn't fit with wigs, or whatever, they don't usually look too natural. So that's why I figured it was her real hair, hah.

however,i think this is suitable for those who started to buy kuu's cd.
but its kind of wasting money for those who already had those studio albums since she's not going to remaster the songs right.just compile her best songs and tadaa...a new BEST CD

The thing is.. if you buy the 2CD only, you'll only be paying.. what.. $5 extra than what you would for TRICK CD-only so to me, it's a good value. But yea, the option of getting the studio album on its own would have been good for other people.
