no, no sad at all... I always forget them xDDD

I also hope one of them won't be on the album... and think that two versions of the same song doesn't fit together... You know... in a single it's ok, but in an album I can't see Sunset in track 4, and Sunrise in track 12 for example... like after some songs "hey, again the same melody!"... and neither together.

As Sunrise had more success I'm sure that if one of them won't be on the album will be Sunset...

It would give a change to another new song to get into the album ^^

It's not that I hate them.. I enjoy Sunrise in live DVD, but I find them quite mediocre and I can't think of my perfect album with them on it...

I really hope there will be a lot of new songs!! We have 4 songs so, in an album with 15 tracks, if she keeps the 3 interlude thing, there would be still 8 new songs, which would be great ^^

Well, the CM for a new song is set to supposedly air by next Monday, so if not before then, we'll get SOMETHING by then.

Both S/S will be on the album. She said she couldn't imagine them being separated in an interview :P

truehappiness 9th February 2010 07:45 PM

There's a small possibility that she will separate them, but that's if she totally goes against what she said in the magazine interview... haha.

gr8 :D I'm so exited :yes

:grumpy

Also if she says the album has the feeling of "old times" I think both songs will fit perfectly to the theme. I always got a LOVE ~destiny~ vibe from Sunset (although I like LOVE ~destiny~ a lot more), and independent+ from Sunrise.

I dont want singles from the last month on the new album! I hate that. They can put Sunrise / Sunset, You were... / BALLAD etc on some best of album but the new album should come with only NEW songs.

Thats what I wish. I dont need any previous song this time. Please an all new experience this time!!

Wow, you must not know how the Japanese make albums... at all. Unlike Western artists who release singles AFTER an album has come out most of the time, Japanese artists make singles that come out before the album, anywhere from 1-4 (or even more than that) singles and then release an album containing selected songs from those singles, and in some cases all of them.

Most of the time when artists release albums without any previously released single material on it, they flop tremendously due to being completely new. I would say that MY STORY was a "flop" to Western fans because of all of the new tracks on it but Japanese people loved it. (out of 17 tracks, 4 were singles and 13 were new) But maybe that says something about Western fans...

I expect Ayu to have only around 9-10 new tracks, as that has been her pattern as of late.

MY STORY - 10 new songs + 3 interludes = 13 new tracks (4 single songs)
(miss)understood - 6 new songs + 2 interludes = 8 new tracks (8 single songs)
Secret - 7 new songs + 3 interludes = 10 new tracks (4 single songs)
GUILTY - 6 new songs + 4 interludes = 10 new tracks (4 single songs)
NEXT LEVEL - 6 new songs + 4 interludes = 10 new tracks (4 single songs)

My hopes for this new album - 7 new songs + 3 interludes = 10 new tracks (5 single songs w/ RED LINE)

thinkingoutloud89 9th February 2010 08:30 PM

why do people thinkl leaving out a single track makes space for an album track

she could do 13 tracks with all singles and 12 with leaving out sunset or so

thats not logical at all...

I'm hoping for either a mini album, or an extended album. not the standard 10-13 tracks. and i want something new. enough with the photobooks. I want a poster, or remixes, or hidden tracks, or maybe a documentary to go along with the album, or a second cd full of alternate songs, or really amazing packaging, or something. the usb thing she did with nl was nice though, but not only could i not afford it, even if i could, they sold faster than hotcakes. even the second batch sold pretty fast.

I dont know about japanese manner of making albums, indeed. Because I dont listen to Popmusic that much. Ayu is almost the only commercial stuff I pay attention to.

Even if thats the way, japanese albums are made, they still can change this tradition and release a whole new, surprising album, with lots of songs. Your example (MY STORY) was perfect. Because that were great times; many tracks, many surprises.. I wish it to come out like this, again =)

As I said, they can keep their last few mediocre singles for a new best of album, this time. I want something thats at least as amazing as GUILTY.

I guess we will have to wait and see...

With MY STORY having so many new songs, wouldn't that make it a flop to the Japanese, not the Western fans...?

I don't know, the Japanese fans seemed to love most of MY STORY, placing it in their top 3 of Ayu albums ever for the most part. MANY American/Western fans on the other hand took a dump all over it for some reason. (I personally really like the album, but people feel otherwise here. It's kind of disgusting. She has a lot of new tracks and it's one of her worst reviewed albums from what I've seen here. AND a lot of people HATE her CREA works on the album. -tears- Poor Ayu~)

Keiichi_JPU 9th February 2010 09:24 PM

I think I said this before in another thread, but I'll say it again.. the ~LOVE is ALL~ (and maybe ~for TA~) suffixes REALLY kill the esthetics of the tracklist!

I know it's really stupid to think this way, and I might have like compulsive disorder or something, but I just think the tracklist would look ugly!! :( ESPECIALLY cause ~LOVE is ALL~ will be on there TWICE!

omg the ugliness, I hope she just leaves it out! Seriously, what's wrong with Sunrise, Sunset and RED LINE? Much, MUCH better in my opinion.

truehappiness 9th February 2010 09:28 PM

I don't really have a problem with the subtitles.

~eternal tie ver.~ and ~take 2 ver.~ don't really offend me, aha, so why would these? I guess I'm not really that affected by such (seemingly?) trivial matters...

OMG, really? MY STORY is my favorite album of hers (although that may be in part due to that was the first album I watched 'take-form', as in, I watched each single be released leading up to the album).
