According to Nikkei, Meisa will release a new song called "Go Ahead" soon. It'll be featured on worldwide watches brand SEIKO's CM.

Kuroki Meisa chosen as image character for Seiko + announces new single

Actress/singer Kuroki Meisa has been chosen as the new image character for Seiko’s (watch brand) female line, “Lukia.”

It is said that Kuroki was chosen due to her cool and strong image matching well with the brand’s image, and the CM will be unveiled on March 11th, mainly through the internet, posters, and magazines.

Kuroki will also sing their image song for spring/summer, and the track will be titled, “Go Ahead“, but no release date has been given yet.

Actress Horikita Maki recently answered a few personal questions on a long-running talk show called “Night Shuffle” on FBS, a local TV station of Fukuoka.

During one part of the show, Horikita talked a bit about her relationship with fellow actress and singer Kuroki Meisa, who is from the same agency. They are both the same age and are known to be very good friends, but rumors about them being on bad terms with each other have been repeatedly surfacing over these past years, but fortunately, the rumours don’t seem to be true.

She recently made it obvious that Kuroki is a “true friend”, as she explained that they often talk about the worries and hardships that come with their work. “It’s hard to talk with an ordinary friend about work,” she said.

Horikita also revealed some interesting trivia about the time when they were living in the same dorm. Apparently she had often treated Kuroki to self-made meals, whereas Kuroki had never cooked for her the entire time. “I feel like the older sister in our relationship,” she said. In fact, she generally enjoys to cook for herself no matter how busy her schedule.

i already heard the album online when it leaked last month, lol. but i didn't hear one song, which was "Why??". and omg...that song is amazing! especially the chorus! :luv2 i love when the background singers say "why oh why oh why". totally love it! all the album tracks sound brilliant in HQ stereo sound. i can definately say that i love EVER song on this album, haha. although i don't really love "Somewhere..." probably because it's a bit too slow for me, but it's growing on me! i felt the same way when i first heard "Awakening" and now i love it. :P

I honestly can say that Kuroki's 1 of the few artistes I stan for to a certain extent

singing's not her forte but what I like about her's that she's able to make her voice work in songs that will serve her well or not

but yeah MAGAZINE is a solid album :heart & also when you have Leslie Kee on board = win win situation

Most of the time people leak those but to a restricted amount of persons, but if one of them share them on such public place, then yeah, it's a bit annoying I guess.

It just feels too early as well since the single is still a month and a half away and that makes me think it's someone in the industry leaking her stuff. I don't know if shops would get their promos this early. :shrug
