Ayu and Timmy looks stunning! Except for Ayu's pink hair...I still think its a 'hair disaster', I like more if its light blond like Part of Me.

I dont mind the colour but from some angles, it looks like she has A LOT of hair on the sides...its quite thick and bushy...if it was thinned down (i noe its a wig..), it would look more flowy and natural and beautiful...

Oh well. Timmy needs to be in the spotlight for a while, I think he worked hard to get where he is and it is definitely paying off. I actually like Timmy a lot. He's a nice person and Ayu seems to really enjoy having him around.

Well, she's been avoiding using dancers in general lately. NONE of them were in any of the Love songs PVs and they were only in ANother song on FIVE. Rock'n'Roll Circus had quite a lot of them though (S/S, BALLAD, Lady Dynamite) but I hope she keeps this up with less Timmy. Maybe only one PV for him. Or none at all?

During POWER of MUSIC, Shu-ya tripped[?] and stuck his middle finger out while the camera was on him during Boys&Girls.

^^Sometimes, but it can also be too damn cheesy, always reaching for each other and whatnot. I'm all for emotional performances like Memorial address at AT 03-04, but when it's so obvi fake (like hm...maybe HANABI at I think AT 07) it just doesn't have the same affect.

And Shuya just is always doing the same thing: dramatic dancing and looking lost/puzzled.

-PCDL he got one small solo...
-At09, he shared the lead with Maro and Midori...
-CDL09-10, he had no solos...
-At10, everyone got their own share of spotlight, and even so, he shared his with the same dancers from At09...
-CDL10-11, as far as I remember, he had no solos...
-At11, he had a solo in Days, reprising the At09 one...
-CDL11-12, he had one solo in November, but all dancers had their share of the spotlight...

She just "overused" him on At07 and At08... And I never found it annoying cuz He grabbed my attention since At05, even if he had no big scenes at the time... Boy has presence...

Edit: The only PVs where he appears a lot are BALLAD, Part of me, Days and BLUE BIRD if u r really picky.

So, people are thinking that Timmy's gonna be gone sometime in the future, after Party Queen is done? I'm a little skeptical because he was in FIVE, as well as he says that Ayu is his "boss". Also, if he is doing vocals in concerts, he could be around for a while. And somehow, I don't see him just sticking to just helping out in concerts, even if that was all he was supposed to do.

^^^NOOOOOO I hate re-packaging of albums, like a lot of popular western artists do. Change the cover, add a few tracks (usually including remixes of pre-existing tracks), and then sell it again. It's such a money-making tactic and I think it's a F-ed up thing to do to fans.

If Ayumi records summer/winter singles again I hope at least the B-Side's arent the same stuff she did 10x before. Bold & Delicious/Pride was a great winter single.

And yeah, been wondering about the large gap between singles myself. It may just be coincidence that her last single was her 50th. Maybe she wanted to do a mini-album, and then from that, had the idea of releasing an album without any prior singles. And hey, it worked out great, because Party Queen is (mostly) amazing.

GOD I hope not. Don't think so though...that would take her way too far away from the style/genre that makes her "ayu". The stuff that really resonates with her fans.

Even if she uses it again, I doubt it'd last for more than a few singles/an album. She seems to get bored of musical styles pretty quickly.

Ayu could do a jazzy summer single. Something that fits with a summer sunset over a beach. The most beautiful time in the world. It could be slow, low and sexy. I love seasonal singles, especially summer ones. They just tend to throw off the flow of albums.

^^Personally, I'd rather see ayu use new composers (like Tak Matsumoto) rather than her old composers. I like it when ayu tries something new and refreshing! :) If ayu goes back to old composers, people will complain that it sounds all the same. :\

It's not really the composers that make it sound the same, but the arrangers. It's why all of her summer tracks kind of sound the same... they were all arranged by HAL with the exception of Sunrise which was arranged by CMJK.

Ayu's arrangers are pretty versatile so I don't think her songs will ever 'sound the same' unless she wants to go for a certain sound like when she goes 'epic' and has Yuta add strings/organ/choirs.

How would fans react to a reggae inspired summer single track? Not well, I'd guess. But, I'd like her to try something new. I do love the next LOVE and even Dream ON, so I would like Ayu to experiment with a new sound, even if it were a b-side or something.
