LOL, yes rigid... It just bothers me when she is dancing... she just kind goes all stiff while she dances because you can tell she is concertinaing super hard.
I mean... we get videos like Contrail... she has so much emotion and just radiates happiness, but then you get videos like heaven where as soon as she starts dancing, its like. All business. lol

Damn. I don't know if I'm having a kind of hesitancy with the recent works of Namie. But they still sounds to me a lot of blah recently.

It's a shame that her music, to sound actual and trendy nowadays, has to use those high electrical sounds, with so much going on and being pretty generic and forgetful after some listens.

Yeah, it's fun and you get addicted to some parts, but, they are full of a emptiness that's quite impressive coming from an artist with her past works.

I think it's the price to stay in the media.

Anyway, Hands on Me it's the better one so far that is on the disc. I can't understand anything with her engrish, but I hope "Feel" doesn't sound like the disastrous "Uncontrolled" to me, being a piece of the same thing on and on, in a never ending nightmare.

I love all these high intensity songs she's been giving us. On top of that, her dancing/choreography is full of swag - she totally owns it. Makes me want to dance watching her dance, which I miss doing since Rock Steady and What A Feeling.

And holy crap, she's gorgeous!

Nah. These dances are like Gordon Ramsey having to toast bread.

Namie is ALL business when it comes to doing a Namie dance.

It's her image. It's her front. She's a badass. She doesn't give a ****. She is above that. There is music playing. There is dancing happening.

heaven is the better song, but hands on me PV was nicer. So Let me Let you go must be a ballad then (Beach PV)

About Heaven, I'm sorry to say I'm really not that impressed. Don't get me wrong, there's really nothing wrong with it, it's nice and catchy, but I've heard this stuff EVERYWHERE nowdays. Pratically every western woman minus Taylor Swift gave me something similar. Nothing special, or original. Still fun though. And it has a very badass, supersexy and nice video, but still, Hands on Me beats all this 10-0 for me.
Now I'm so curious about the rest of the album. I'm wondering if it'll have the same effect on me of Uncontrolled, which half I really liked, half I really didn't care!XD

Out of all the songs released so far the only ones I have liked are "Big Boys Cry"
and "Beautiful" (i have yet to listen to "Contrail" though)

I actually really like Namie's blank expressions while she's dancing. It gives off a very cool and collected vibe, and she shows emotion when the song calls for it, like in Contrail and Hands On Me. :yes

Heaven is growing on me a lot !!! The PV is like many of her pv's, and her outfit with that ponytail is like many others. But i love the disco ball's scene,s he looks gorgeous.

On a serious note, I like the cd cover a lot more, don't care for her PVs (except what a feeling, dr and maybe rock steady) and its cheaper. What's not to like in my case?

I've actually been enjoying Namie's recent MV's. Hands on me is quite entertaining. :yes

In previous years, her deadpan/stoic stage persona in MV's came across as contrived and apathetic instead of enticing and fierce imo. But as of late I've noticed her facial expressions are more enchanting and sensual. She seems more relaxed and natural in her PV's. :D

Side note: Am I the only person who actually likes "CYFTL" minus the repetitive chorus? Hearing the 2 longer previews for it changed my view on the song. :) The 30 second snippet on 'soundcloud' does it no justice. :(

so far I only find Alive memorable and I like Beautiful when you think of it as a winter ballad, the rest is ok, I hoped for more though :|

This album is sounding fantastic and Heaven is my favorite song of the year so far. Loving the video too. Tempted to change my shipping option for the album to express as I want it ASAP. Definitely feels like the next step after Uncontrolled (my favorite album of last year) and seems virtually perfect so far.

Zedd <3 <3 <3 Hopefully there are more songs on the album produced by him!! I love that she went the EDM route with this album. Heaven is just amazing to listen to!

I'm also glad she went down the trashy EDM route.
Heaven is already much better than most of Uncontrolled's dance music. I'm really impressed.

But you know, you aren't the only person who doesn't like this direction...and I think it's okay.

These songs are very particular. They're not like her past albums. They don't have the diversity. I'm actually surprised so many of her fans DO like it lol

Jpop fans are usually so quick to just bash to hell anything sounding remotely like Western music.

Besides, her other singles weren't so "trashy edm" so, it's not like a total change either. Who knows where she'll go next~

I thought I was the only one who thought that! She has gotten better in her recent years but it's still very bad performance skills with dancing... even in her videos! Don't get me wrong, I love her and her dancing, but I wish she would perform... It's always what dancers call 'blank face'

But maybe she's one of those performers who does not like to watch themselves on screen...

I don't like everything from this new direction as well.
Heaven has nice verses, but the chorus is so damn generic and repetetive, it destroys the whole song for me.
Besides I didn't even know who Zedd is and I couldn't care less about him producing Gaga's new album.

On the other I love Hands on me, song and PV.
It's half, half right now for me.

I always felt the reason Namie's face looks strange when dancing is she probably isn't a natural at it. She's probably focused and concentrating on remembering the routine (as well as her singing).
