^it's the tattoos, i think we've seen them before, they are probably a continuation of the one she has already. I don't think they would make a fake one and then hide 90% of it under that bodice.

THIS. Incredible. The only qualm I have is the absence of scenery. I hope that, at some point, she stops filming every PV against a blank background. It's one of the big things that's kind of ruined the PVs over the last few years, not enough or clearly fake scenery that doesn't seem to add to the depth of the imagery.

But this outfit and the chair is awesome. I wonder if Sayonara will have a bridge similar to that of Mirrorcle World? I miss when she had the slow, ballad like break following the second chorus before ramping back up to the original pace.

I'm curious here. But it's a DAISHI DANCE product. So I'm not too curious. I've never heard DD do anything but stale dance productions, so I'm hoping they at least tried a little harder for Ayu. DD would come across as a step backward for Ayu in sound, even though they've comparably done nice things with artists like MIKA NAKASHIMA.

It was a good remix, but it sounds like everything else DD has done. There's nothing generally unique about it among DD's history. They aren't bad or anything, just not necessarily that creative or original anymore.

I actually feel the same way. I like the remix of heaven he/they/she did, but I don't think it's anything spectacular. Besides the really pretty violin intro, it's really just 6 minutes of a beat and a piano. I find it more entertaining than the original version, but it's nowhere near my top ten fav remixes.

I don't know how will sound Sayonara but for example on "What is forever love" before the song was released and knowing that is produced by "Daishi Dance" I was expecting a dance track but is a Pop song and I was suprised. I didn't listen other Daishi Dance songs so I can't tell if I like him or not but I think this new song for the mini will be more upbeat than What is forever love, at least I hope so.

i cannot say i hate that DAISHI DAISHI guy, but really from what i've heard of his work it really is nothing outstanding or groundbreaking, it's very typical and mediocre and quite boring for my ears, that's why i cannot understand the fuss over him. :shrug

^laid back piano compositions mostly...but they have a certain something - and they are by far more outstanding than the last three albums of ayu in terms of composition and flow.

I'll say it again: Arcadia was NOT!!!! composed by DAISHI DANCE, but by Miya of MUCC. It doesn't make any sense to say it would fit Ayu more than MUCC, unless you're assuming the song was composed by DAISHI DANCE. What it was not. DAISHI DANCE added the house elements to the song. And btw, Arcadia has a very typical MUCC sound and it does not sound like anything Ayu would ever do. Even though I wish she would.

I found it a little ignorant to claim the song was written by someone else than Miya, that's why I made that comment.

I don't think a lot of people here listen to MUCC/Visual Kei, so they're not being "ignorant", they just don't know anything about them to begin with. On this forum the artists we're all supposed to have knowledge about are female solo artists such as Kuu, Namie or Hikki :P

I'm still 1000% convinced that the original title had to be SEX-TAPE, but it was probably way too risky. And Koda can't really afford another major scandal for her career. And rightly so, she's too damn talented to be tossed out the door like Suzuki Ami.

Well, like in NintendoHTF1242's perspective, DAISHI DANCE is an amazing producer. I agree that their productions are really pretty, I just don't hear much variation in them. So, like with RedOne, producers that only have a certain sound feel like a step back for Ayu. At the same time, maybe Ayu's track with DD will be refreshing, especially compared to some of the overused production motifs: the expansive strings, the plain piano ballad.

I'm going to err on Nintendo's side on Sayonara. Usually, if I feel positive about something Ayu is doing, I tend to end up enjoying it more. The only exception, albeit recent, was A ONE, which I genuinely thought would not be as good as it turned out.

Still, I really wish Nintendo would post their perspective on DD. Maybe there's something about DD that we overlook?

Nintendo had already said he likes that old housey style. It's really a matter of taste and preference for the genre. Me, I adore beautiful melodies and emotional music, but to me, that's what trance is, not house. Trance has an intricacy about it that I don't sense as strongly in house. House is more about "the groove" and "the beat," it tries to evoke a more "feel good" feeling by keeping things relatively basic. Daishi is very much a house DJ, and seeing as I have never been a fan of house due to its lack of intensity (in both composition and arrangement), I am not a fan of his work simply because I am not a fan of that style. I cannot attach myself to it because it doesn't spark a strong emotion within my chest.

^^ Well I mean... It's not like we got recordings of the songs/videos from the concert... So we'd just be talking about nothing other than from whoever attended the concerts and got to hear the songs/see the video. Lol.

To answer oribital, I just enjoy the nostalgic sound in DAISHI's music. He makes really good traveling music. I love walking on trails or even riding on trains/light rails while listening to his music because it's smooth and chill stuff. That's all there is to it. I'm a huge sucker for old House music and I LOVE piano and strings. There's no doubt that he doesn't change his sound at all, which I like lol. Same reason I love Zedd to death. But I can understand why his productions aren't some people's cup of tea. Zeke also summed it up pretty well.

The good thing about DD is that his melodies are piano driven which ultimately saves the songs. So far I liked a couple of his songs, even though you could easily tell it was a DD song as they are all similar in a way. I really am glad he's done another one for Ayu.

All I know is Daishi Dance ruined one of my favorite songs. I still to this day pretend the HEAVEN remix doesn't exist. I rather like WIFL but only because of the composition. I knew Daishi Dance had something to do with just by how bland the arrangement sounds. I know fans say ayu's music is stale a lot but when I think of stale, I think of Daishi Dance.

i don't know if I rember enough to confidently give a description haha. It's mid tempo? I guess? It's not slow, but nothing like snowy kiss or TSMGO. It was more a constant speed than say, July 1st or blossom. Which go from slow to fast. Not as peppy as Greatful days or Blue Bird...definitely pop though.

But honestly don't quote me on any of this lol. I remember that I really liked it, and the video was very well done.

It was filmed in Guam in, you guessed it, one day.

The sunset scenes in the water were beautiful.

Also the little boy seems like he was just a guest at the resort/hotel. I don't think he has any connections to Ayu at least.
