Would have prefered others than insane and Wicked Girls, but that's also just based on the previews. insane has some strange lyrics (and Kaled, yes, they're similar to Lay Down, which were bad x_x) - but all the other songs use English nicely so far if there is any.
Hope this turns out to be the case for the full songs as well.

Low budget, sadly. Not a fan of those "dance only" music videos, HURRICANE was such a mess, and Ultraviolet seems to be going to the same direction.

PV's are really cheap, but she filmed those during studio recordings so they probably hadn't much time/space/budget for more scenes...

it would fit much better if they had some more scenes/outfits kinda like the TOUCH DOWN video but in a cool 90s nrb/hiphop version
and kaled is right, HURRICANE was such a mess :dead2

This makes me sad. I'm waiting to get my albums to watch the PVs but hearing you both say its low budget made me lower my expectations. I hope Ultraviolet isn't as bad as Hurricane. I was okay with the video setting and all but the colors and camera angles in Hurricane were dreadful....

^well Ultra is 1 outfit/1 Location/only dancing... the effects are nice but thats not enough for a good video. some 90s hip hop video on the streets would work much better, at least it's not as awful as the HURRICANE PV.

BRIDGET is the same 1 outfit/1 location, but it fits the song really well so it kinda works for it in my opinion.

just hope she has more budget for the other PV's...

Another issue for me is that in BRIDGET SONG it doesn't look like she is the one singing that voice. I mean, her voice in the track is very lively and all and she's sort of calm in the video.

I had the same issue with the PV of Butterfly back in the day.

BRIDGET SONG is really good <3 I'll probably love it in full. Reminds me of Someday, IN THE AIR, I'll be there... I love these "feel good" type of songs.

Ultraviolet on the other hand I didn't really like... it's all over the place. I'll wait to better judge when I hear the full thing but I'm not impressed.

Both PVs were probably made with a Big Mac worth of money. Cheap as fuck. Makes me worry for the rest of them, I guess they will all be really basic.

I actually really like both. Bridget Song she looks so fresh. Yeah, it's simple, but it's so refreshing and different for her. I was just hating on her bangs, but she looks fucking amazing.

Ultraviolet her look and dancing is so aggressive that anything more would just be too much. And the style and effects are everything I miss from the 2000s.

Home girl does not have the budget for PVs that she used to. She's honestly doing well with what she has. Plus, I feel like PVs are really all that important these days.

Are people really forgetting the majority of the Kingdom album PVs? I haven't seen the previews in full yet but even my favorites from Kingdom like Amai Wana and Under were super super cheap. JAPONESQUE MVs had a much better budget overall. These two new MVs may not be super expensive but she could be saving the better PVs for later.

Why are you people hating on HURRICANE PV? I really like that! It was just a pity, they didn't explore the scenes in the laboratory.

So far I'm really happy with the full songs we have.
Ultraviolet was overwhelming with first listen as there is happening so much. But after a few listens it gets really addictive. I love her voice in some parts, she sounds refreshing.
On my way has such a great guitar break! Didn't expect that at all.
But Promise you is still my favourite in full!

I really love both songs, but the videos are meh... so I'm crossing my fingers, I want better videos for the other songs.

To me, everything about Ultraviolet is cheap. All the songs from Outside make me cringe a little.:no
But I really am liking Inside. Bridget Song seems really nice a refreshing. The PV is a bit low budget but not too bad. Something seems off about the lip sync too.

Ultraviolet: The 00:50〜01:09 portion is sublime. :luv2 The chaotic trap-esque nature of the song is totally something I would normally despise, but Kumi makes it work and I can see myself ending up liking the track. That's what I kinda missed a lot about Kumi - the fact that she could adopt a genre I normally despise, make it her own, and in doing so, allow me the ability to enjoy it.

BRIDGET SONG: Sounds like a nice and sweet track that isn't boring either. I'll definitely be happy listening to it.

@Corvina I'm sorry, but HURRICANE was a hot mess imo. I like the idea of the laboratory, and how it could tie together with EX TAPE, but the direction was so bad with cuts that were too fast, it's hard to even try to pay attention to the choreography.

Overall Ultraviolet is not that bad to be included with the unholy trinity (COLOR OF SOUL, HURRICANE and LOL) but it could be better. Maybe it is, we don't know how it goes. :)

I just watched BRIDGET SONG. Yeah, it's pretty cheap, but I think the simplicity sort of fits the song nicely. Her hair looks gorgeous, by the way. There's nothing special about the song, so I'm probably going to skip it often.

Ai no Uta is a collaboration with Wada Akiko and Yashiro Aki. They also sing a song from those two.
Kuu is additionally performing On my way and Yashiro Aki another song as well.

Ok so I'll be the annoying question asking about concert tickets but I'm going to japan this summer and I'd love to see kuu live. It's already too late for me to join the fanclub and apply to the lottery to try and get tickets. I'd love to attend one of the dates in tokyo on th 6th or 7th august and I have no idea how to get tickets otherwise and if there is even a chance so can anyone tell me how that could be possible for me? Same would be for Kana's dome tour if I couldnt attend kuu I'd love to go there instead, my flights arent booked yet so I don't have a certain time when I'll go yet so I'm still free to decide but if anyone has tips on that I'd be very thankful too!

(I know no one was necessarily saying this so this isn't aimed at anyone) Budget isn't really the deciding factor in a good video. Time, effort, and a good plot/direction make or break a video. A lot of Kimi's earlier videos are quite good despite not having a lot of money. Although I'd say J-POP videos in general were quite good in the earlier days. There seemed to be more interest in videos... now, despite the AMAZING platform that YouTube provides, J-POP videos are shit compared to 10 years ago. That's a problem...

The style of filming is so different! Do As Infinity had -amazing- photography and ideas being executed in their videos. It's amazing how uninspired videos now are. Sigh.

Actually, "uninspired" is probably the best way I could describe J-POP videos now.

Not only the videos, Jpop as a whole has been uninspired for some time now imo

About BRIDGET SONG, I don't understand the hating. The song is beautiful and so is the PV with its simplicity. It's the kind of song and video that makes me happy. This is what I needed from kuu for so long

I don't even hate Ultaviolet. You wanna talk about shitty dance only videos, I would direct you to Ayu's Lelio PV. The song is good but Ayu's terrible dancing and the cheesy effects. Ugh.

And when you've been watching so much Downton Abbey that you're not sure which part of Koda's hair in ULTRAVIOLET will ring the butler...

I think Koda does "boring" PVs like BRIDGET SONG better than Ayu. And maybe that's not saying much because Koda doesn't have that many PVs where she's just sitting or standing around for four minutes, but I wasn't nearly as bored with BRIDGET SONG as I was with, say, Ayu's crossroad or MOON.

And Koda has obviously been training in dance since WOML. UV is easily the best I've seen her move her body in a PV.

I will wait to watch the Videos until I get my copy of W FACE.
But the Picture I saw of the ULTRAVIOLET style is really nice. I like that hair a lot.

I like both PVs and I don't care if they are low budget or not. IMO simple and static PV suits to "BRIDGET SONG" and dancy PV for "Ultraviolet" is much more entertaining than for ex. "Like It" PV.

The clock is for the 11th anniversary of playroom. So it's only available for.playroom members.
And the liqueur - that's just a guess now, but in most countries shipping liquids isn't allowed, so it's probably not available because of that.
But only the white one is still available on mu-mo anyway, the other one is sold out.
