I already like DNA more than I liked AND. AND was great but sadly I lost interest towards it way too soon after the release lol.
I still wish Guess Who Is Back was remade into a badass hip hop song instead. It would be more pleasant to listen to in my opinion. |

The multicoloured hairstyles representing the different selves she was in the past and working as transition states between her old styles (the first white-blue bob is probably supposed to resemble the one from Ecstasy PV, the black short one she already revealed as Ima sugu hoshii, the purple pigtails are Ultraviolet). When she's drinking the water, we're entering her inner self, her current self with her natural hair, representing her past making her who she is now. I also like that the mirror, she is talking to in the lyrics, are basically we, the audience of the PV. And the people washing and cutting her hair representing the influences from outside shaping her. Even tho I think that whole era with AND DNA and the PVs would be really fitting to her 20th Anniversary! :laugh |

On the topic of Ku releasing so much more than ayu while touring despite having essentially an overall busier life than ayu, I think it has a lot to do with how they both reached superstardom. I’m not saying ayu hasn’t had struggles in her life but she said way back when she never had this undying desire to be a singer. Like she kind of fell into it and then fell in love with it. And she took off relatively early in her career - almost an instant smash.
Ku on the other hand had a real struggle reaching her superstardom phase. She struggled in the industry with pleasing those around her and their demands of her, so I think she has a stronger drive to continue running forward on that path after the gates finally opened for her. She’s a lot more “eager” than ayu. It’s almost like the stars were already naturally aligned for ayu. Ku had to play a few rounds of poker before she finally acquired the right hand. |

I was expecting CHANCES ALL to be a bonus PV tbh due to being announced so late, so it's a bit better than I imagined :laugh Thought it was gonna be her leaving one of the sets and walking away from the shooting, a bit like ayu's Pride, so I like this, it's a bit like Someday. And yeah there are more scenarios from the photos she posted, HAIRCUT also has that one in the "water" plus the instagram pic shows her in another room when she's with those green boots. Can't wait to see it all :)

After watxhing the PV my oponion is still the same. The song is not my taste but the PV is so good. Love all the effects and the different Hairstyles and Outfits. She really can rock many different looks. I live that dress with shells, the ine she wears with the butterflies in her Hair. Would totally buy that onr, too.

To be honest I prefer when AK69 isn't there with her, so she can dance during the rap part. It's always so awkward the interaction between them in that part.
About HAIRCUT, love the PV! It has a very Mika Ninagawa style, with the colors and the butterflies, even tho I don't think she's the director of this PV. The only thing I don't like it's how "wiggy" some of the hairstyles look. We know the girl has a good collection of wigs, with lace fronts and all, but some of the looks (the pink hair with dark roots and the first one) are very fake and kinda distracting. I do understand that's easier do just put a regular wig on, but anyway. Judging by the dancers outfit this may be the dress rehearse. Not sure if I like the outfit, black again for a summer concert. |
