In the Japanese part of his post he's mentioning that the episodes with her are going to be uploaded in 4 parts every week starting on her 20th anniversary day December 6th.

Working mainly to produce stuff for overseas, his English is fantastic.
We can be sure he's going to translate the English questions well into Japanese.

this amv is such a stupid reason to cancel the FC edition preorders for 2 reasons I can think of atm. Firstly, my cousin owns this series. She bought the series here in Canada years ago so it was released internationally. Two, the AMV is already on YouTube for people to watch globally.

I hope that is not the reason, but if it is, yes, it is very stupid.But it could be that they only paid for "domestic use" rights (I don't know if that's what it's called, but probably is the same thing as the Sean Paul's dong, with copyright within the national territory?)

Regarding the new Suki de MV and the FC edition - well, rights for the manga might not be cheap or even the mangaka Rumiko Takahashi herself might have a say in this, how it's going to be monetised (ok on youtube, but not ok for avex to make bigger money through it with a release worldwide?).
Takahashi is one of the most famous Japanese mangaka in Japan and one of the richest Japanese persons altogether...
Great collab for Kuu tho as it's a wide known and popular old manga.

She picked Suki de for it as the lyrics fit the best to the story.
Kuu directly worked with Rumiko Takahashi for this and Takahashi thinks Suki de is a powerful and fitting ballad.

Guess they might have worked on this collab for a longer time and now that it was made possible they simply put it on the next release being out as a special, lol.

As a Kuu fan for quite a long time , this's a mixed bag of emotions on this matter

It feels as though avex overlooks the fact that Kuu have fans outside of Japan , not just domestically in the country

Joining any artiste's fanclub , it's supposed to be a good happy thing

But when you're unable to buy the fanclub releases due to wide variety of reasons while you're in the fanclub itself , it contradicts why you join the fanclub in the 1st place

Yup, you're pretty much right, it should have never been put to pre-order in the first place :/ But it looks messy to start selling something and decide to add stuff like this. In the end I know overseas fans arent that many but it's frustrating cause it's not just a product in a shop, cause I pay a signature to that shop and can't buy it. Probably it's not even worth the trouble of making an overseas fc version so they just canceled it all. A pity.

It seems to be Kumi's standard to announce albums while still finishing them tho. I can recall that happening in the last years, so maybe that's part of the problem.

I'm honestly surprised LAST ANGEL MV was added since Tohoshinki aren't together as the full 5 members they originally were when this came out. Still I'm super happy the MV is up on YouTube now. I still remember the day that the single arrived at my door. However I think my most fondest Kuu memory is when my copy of TAKE BACK first arrived at the end of January 2001. I heard it for the first time from an exchange student at my school 2 weeks beforehand and immediately went and ordered my copy after school that day.

So happy DITR was uploaded! Still one of the most gorgeous music videos I've ever seen. What a gem.

Dance In The Rain sticks out like a sore thumb in her videography, specially after Bon Voyage. The Oculus Rift gig probably gave her such a different budget for it that, even other times where she worked with YBKX later DITR clearly looks much better than anything else.

I know it's about different visions and concept, but it's hard not to notice how HAIRCUT/WATCH OUT wasn't as polish as this one. Even WOML isn't that polished as well.

And it is kinda jarring going from that to W FACE, where all the PVs kinda sucks, to k, with its poorly done backdrop (I still can't wrap my mind around how badly the backdrop is, with the gaps and everything). Can't compare with the ones from angeL+monsteR because of the pandemic and blabla.

Glad it was updated. It’s indeed one of her best video ever released.

I feel Dance In The Rain is one of her personal fav songs. She performed the song in most of her last live tour and each time the performance was outstanding (the WOML Tour one is her most impressive acrobatic performance IMO).

Dance in the rain is SO good! it's one of my favorite songs ever. I think the video would have benefited from being more wide screen? it almost looks square to me. The scenery is really good.

Curious to see the countdown edition of the concert.

My thoughts about the previews:
Alarm sounds nice, loving the chorus. It has a tropical beat vibe.
I don't know why RUN clicked so much with me, it's probably my favorite song from the album so far.
for... got an r&b instrumental for the chorus, hope it develops more during the song, because the piano is kinda generic.

Killer monsteR's chorus is lame, the verse sounds alright.
WORK IT! is kinda spooky haha. The beginning is very noisy, but as it goes it gets a halloween vibe, it's something that could be on Turn Of The Lights from Kim Petras
FliCky so far is the best for my taste in monsteR, is similar to Shhhh but more uptempo, mixed with Winner Girls.
No One sounds like the remix of Damn Real on Driving Hit, liking so far except the sound is a little LQ, hope it's just the preview.
Sing the truth is that song from her InstaLive, nothing groundbreaking so far.

Other than the 2 main mini albums songs that have got PVs , I'm not going to listen to the other new material's previews

Really dig that mix of laid-back urban and electronic sounds!

So far from the previews, I like I'm Lovin', RUN and WORK IT! RUN has potential to be one of her best recent ballads, hopefully the full version won't disappoint.
