I think she's not fat, she was much thinner in 2001 but she's not fat, and looks much more healthier now and beautiful. I'm sure her IMC is perfect.
I also noticed cameras everywhere. I agree the videos where amazing! and the music with the videos too.

i was also in attendance (29th). here's my take on things:

- creepy guys sitting next to you and touching your leg and saying "yoroshiku" are awesome. that guy was cool, i would sit next to him again any day.
- before reading anything here or elsewhere, i did notice on my own that ayu looked like she had gained some weight. here's a thought: who cares?
- she always messes up some lyrics, i'm starting to think she's doing it on purpose lol. kind of like the fake crying.
- the crowd's energy was down for some things, up for others. it fluctuated.
- her vocals were fine, her a cappela was awesome. there were times that i thought her mic control was bad though, her voice would get REALLY loud and almost annoying.
- the rain sucked.
- i saw two people almost fight over a ball she threw into the crowd.
- gomi is my favorite dancer.
- out of the 5 shows i've been to, this one had the most incredible stage work i've EVER seen. the whole stage changing, the rope dancing, the little thingy that lifted up for marionette, the friggin' pirate ship, the lights, the pyro, etc etc. amazing.
- i hope subaru is ok. i like his pink hair.

the marionette outfit is so damn cool!her best outfit of the concert!

Damm.. this could very well be my fav concert since AT05. o___o It just seems like there's a ton of "climax songs" (dont leave me alone, marionette, mirrorcle world, etc.). And the ship HAS to be the best big attribute so far. :D It sure beats kiss o kill's cross and the AT06 B&D cake thing.

Chisa and Midori did little bits in the beginning, and then Kaeru came out (down, I should say) and did her routine for the latter half of the song, and then during the outro while Ayu was changing costumes. Seeing them do that in person was even more jaw-dropping than seeing it on video...I was terrified someone was going to fall. *__*

man the crying at the end almost broke my heart! T_T, and the Ship WOW!!!!!

It's NOT mermaid-theme. The dress is just wider at the end.

In the video before HANABI, she's on some stairs that's close to the sky. There's no indication what-so-ever that this is a mermaid (other than that there's a "ship"...but so, it's an airship...water is not a theme at all).


That was her most teary part...but she pulled together after that and showed no hint of tears.

From memory, not really. I think she had more emotion during those songs on the 2nd date of the tour...but this time, it was more like an 'acting' performance of the songs. Not that she wasn't real or believable during them...but that she didn't really cry.

I think something that struck me a bit from this tour is that she's become a very gesture-kind of singer. What I mean is, she would do hand waves, finger movements, etc etc. to represent the lyrics. (like finger waves to represent 'kira kira shita' in MY ALL...etc etc.) It's not really a bad thing but sometimes I feel like she's overdoing it.

Calm down o_O I was talking about Kuu's ningyo themed costume. I thought that was pretty clear from the quotes.. ^^

Teth has seen AT08 twice. He was at the final live btw. He was talking about the entire performance of MY ALL/other songs.

I think she sounded pretty good; she hit most of the right notes. Sometimes it alwas sounds like the singer is singing "badly" when they have these TV clips, just because of the production and stuff... MY ALL sounded pretty spot on, despite the fact she was crying!

Loose shirts are definitely more comfortable. I'm sure after singing and dancing in an arena FULL of people under hot lights gets very uncomfortable after a while. :laugh Besides, who wants pit stains? jk

I just still can't get over everything that was in this tour! There are songs performed that I LOVE ("Voyage" and "End roll"), the costumes are exquistite, the staging looks FANTASTIC!!
