OMG my parcel that my Japanese friend sent in last Fri came earlier on

among the things inside the parcel's 3 ARASHI fanclub booklets that he kindly attached to the parcel :thud

& that was a huge surprise seeing that I never requested him for it prior to earlier on

^ yeah, my Japanese friend told me she was sending a gift package but i thought it'd just be a lil something... when it got here, the mail-lady had a hard time carrying it!
inside was Japanese snacks, the latest issue of Oricon style and ViVi, the HYDF photo book, copies or JE CDs and DVDs, copies of HYD season 2, HSJ stickers ^^, and MORE!!! ^^

I just found out that I do indeed can play region code 2 DVDs on my laptop , all I have to do's some adjustments & I'm good to go :D

This thread went quite fast, I was only away for 12 hours! I'm downloading the Truth PV right now, can't wait to watch it. In the meantime, I'll have to catch up on watching Maou. But since there's a one week holiday next week from uni means that I can have time for Arashi!

the truth pv is so :luv2 I love the dancing and they all look really good. Especially Aiba, is it just be because I think he looks hotter than usual right now :laugh And yeah with the pv having more focus on ohno now, you see how much more screen time he has. Oh I can't wait to get the single.

Also on another note, about the Olympics since today is meant to be the opening day. Does anyone know what time they're airing it in Japan, cause I want to see if they show any Sho today XDDDDD He IS still doing the newscaster thing isn't he, cause otherwise I am going be so bummed =_________=

yup, they babysit babies. i only saw the aiba&nino one, and the recent sho&aiba one, which was HILARIOUS!! the baby kept screaming and screaming, and i just literally laughed at some parts of it. aiba and sho are cute together, lol. but aiba seriously always makes me laugh out loud. :P

so, "Kaze no Mukou e" definitely sounds better in full. but i still don't really like the song that much. at least there's "truth", which is probably my favorite A-side of theirs since "Love so sweet".

idk why, but i feel like Arashi's not really impressing me that much anymore? it's cool that their gaining popularity and i'm really happy for them, but i feel like their ditching their old style/sound.

LOL.. i starting to like ARASHI even more.. I think its great that they are moving towards a new style of music... Truth was really unexpected... but the song is amazing... (not to mention the PV).. Kaze no Mukou e i did expect more from the PV... initially i didn't really like the song but hearing it full and watching the PV... i began to enjoy it..

I just saw the full truth MV, it was such a cool setting and all the guys were great. The dancing was great too, altho at times the movements were a bit soft and kinda looked a little girly but overall it was like that so yeah :)
I also saw Kazenomukouhe PV, it was pretty good, Sho was awesome in it, he looked cool and made a cool rap :) Masaki's had cool style and Jun's hair looked awesome, altho i dont get his scarf thingy

i guess it's cool to get a new style, but i'm not ~feeling it~. i much prefer their style from "Iza, Now" to "ARASHIC". i love the earlier works too. i could tolerate a poppier side, since i love "Time" album and "Love so sweet" and stuff too. but eh. i prefer their hip-hop inspired stuff more, i guess.

The "Kaze no Mukou e" PV is good, but not THAT great in my opinion. Funny how "truth" focuses on Riidaa and Aiba and "Kaze no~" on Nino and Sho. I like the song, too, though I'm happy that they released "truth" alongside with it.

Hopefully their future releases will be more rock influenced , that will be good

actually for once I'm glad that the camera's not focusing a lot on MatsuJun (even though he's my fave member in the band) because he has been the centre of attention a bit too much (I sound so mean suddenly :laugh)

Yeah, I do agree with Kaori, Arashi does a lot of experimenting. I have to say that it turned out pretty well, we get to hear different types of music from them. I do love that artists try out different types of music instead of sticking to certain types only..=D

dosen't NEWS and KAT-TUN have boyband poppy songs, too? "yorokobi no uta" anyone? (but i LOVE that song, though, lol :laugh) maybe it's not that poppy-ish, but it's a cute song (aishiteru, aishiteru..:laugh). i think all JE bands have at least one or a few poppy songs. after all, they are boybands, so what can you expect? :P especially since it's JE.

"Yorokobi no Uta" stands as my least favorite KAT-TUN A-side, LOL. and NEWS, well, yeah, i do know they are really boyband pop. :lmfao

i can't exactly pinpoint it, but i'm pretty sure it was "Step & Go" (i liked "Happiness" to a degree). that was the first single release i wasn't exactly excited for. i think "D'A'L" worsened it.
