I actually kinda regret initally buying Sailing free from my Taiwanese friend Cliff but not anymore . When the single arrived at my house , I was going :luv2 all over the place :laugh

I think the day where Liv can't sell on the miniscule promo she does is when we need to worry about her contract. Til then, she'll continue to make the music she wants because what she's getting now seems ok for the effort that's put in. Besides, cutting edge probably isn't a big sub-label itself and as long as they have BACK-ON, they're ok.

I was reading on last.fm about some incident about some comments OLIVIA made about dolphins... anyone know anything about it?

I don't understand why people got angry about it, she was just saying save the dolphins and stuff

Yeah I read that blog post before it was deleted. The comments were probably from people who thought she was potraying Japan negatively. Really sad because OLIVIA was being herself, she's against animal testing so killing diolphins for the hell of it bothered her.

Anyone know what's happening with our dear girl? She hasn't updated her vision factory blog in months and it seems as if she is going back into her shell again...:no I don't usually get interested with artists personal lives, but it bothers me when it appears as if she is depressed or something...

She was protesting against dolphin testing somewhere in Japan (Taiji?). If I remember correctly it's an annual thing for the town. So random Japanese people commented on her post saying she shouldn't have talked about it so openly.

I believe the reason we haven't heard anything from OLIVIA is because she may not be in Japan because of these multiple reasons:
-her sister got enganged
-her family went on a trip to Philadelphia
-her brother college graduation
-she participated in the production of her sister's first album back in 2006 and now her sister is finishing her second album so it's more likely she is helping her sister in the production of this album too

^ She posted something either her Twitter (I think?) about being in a band with her bro so that could be keeping her from updating. It still wouldn't make since to delete her blog.

The only thing Olivia mentioned about a band on her Twitter page was last July and she said "my sis & her band is here on tour!! having too much fun hanging with them!!! :)"

So if you saw something like that, it wasn't on Twitter. haha Goshhh~ I really want some new music from her. Did anyone ever get a copy of the French album? Didn't it have a new song on it?!

I just went on the French iTunes and it turns out the "unamed bonus track" was "If you only knew (world's end girlfriend mix)." It's a mix that she had on her myspace a long time ago. Not too spectacular. I'm sad it wasn't a new song. What a totally useless release for non-French fans.
