you're right, for some reason i expected there to be more songs that she hasn't performed at some point, but i can only count about 13-14, and most of them are from the ASFXX album. i don't think people would be too happy about a 'from your letter' live though :laugh

lol idg all this HOPE or PAIN hate... that was one of my favorite performances from AT09. It's actually one of my favorite Ayu songs, and I hoped for YEARS that she would perform it. I was totally bawling at the first AT09 concert I went to lol

I loooove that new t-shirt. It's like the encore t-shirts she wears! (They're always crystalized.) Too bad it's almost $200... I could buy it, but I don't really want to spend that much on it.

Well, during the first leg of AT09, both Maro and Shu-ya had pretty much equal time in the Ballads section of the concert (unless you count the intro video, then Maro had more). Of course, Maro was off doing his own thing, and Shu-ya was with Ayu =P

Just went to mixi, and here are a few changes that they said:
- AUDIENCE is replaced by Sunrise
- For My Dear is replaced by Sunset.

I can't find any other changes... it's not like I was expecting much. She did the same thing last year, replacing only one song. She may have changed the outfits a bit, but I didn't translate much on their AT09 thread, heh.

I'd rather see Sunrise replace evolution. :(

Nope. Sunrise was added into the setlist (not replacing anything) for the last few shows of the first leg, and Sunset wasn't played at all. She's still keeping the setlist the original length.

oh, I thought she sang Sunset already...but if she cut out 2 songs(AUDIENCE and for ym dear...or from your letter, whatever it was...) for 1 new song(Sunset), for me that is shortening.

^ Basically, she's replaced AUDIENCE with Sunrise, so that's one less song, and then replaced For My Dear... with Sunset, so the tour is one song shorter cuz she's took out AUDIENCE when Sunrise was originally in the encore, so you're right. :P

lol Sunrise feels a little weird replacing AUDIENCE... I honestly prefer it in the encore as a song to pump the audience up, but whatever.

It's not like Sunrise was there the whole time, though. If you put in that perspective, yes, it's not one song shorter, but the MCs are huge, so it's not like taking out one song is makes a huge difference in how long the shows really are. lol

Also, during the MC:
- She sang Present.
- The audience was given a sheet before the concert, and they sung "happy birthday" to her! Here's the sheet that was given to them:

Eh, I'm not the biggest fan of AUDIENCE, but it fit in that part of the concert. EnergizE->AUDIENCE went well together, because of all the synchronized clapping you do. Haha. And I'm very sad For My Dear was replaced with Sunset... For My Dear was an amazing performance, and the backscreens looked very nice during that song. I wonder if they continued with the backscreens in Sunset.

I do wonder what will make it to the DVD... each encore is different (both shows I went to had different encores, because different games were played, and even Marron was brought out the second day), so I wonder if they'll do a "best of" when it comes to those. If the AT09 DVD is like the AT07 one, then "For My Dear" and "AUDIENCE" should be on there... hopefully.

I think most people will probably prefer the DVD to not be like AT07's if we can avoid it, haha. I kind of want this DVD to come out really quickly, rather than having to wait until April/May 2010 for it to come out. Maybe they'll put only the extras people really want to see? Special screens + some backstage stuff + MCs?

I hope this tour's dvd will include backstage scenes...unlike last year's.

I really wonder what the dvd cover will be like...if they follow what they did with AT06 and AT08, which outfit will be on the cover? IMO...none of the tour outfits this year were amazing....but if I have to choose, rule with the umbrellas would be good.

The concert's over already, I think - now she only has the late October Yoyogi classic, with two more midweek concerts left on the 21st (Wednesday) and the 22nd (Thursday)...

Oh yeah - Yoyogi again - and bring on the Tokyo Metro Chiyoda and Fukutoshin lines - maybe some Ayu fans watching this in the midweek late October Yoyogi classic might just take the subway to see Ayu two more times in the Arena Tour this year...
