Doesn't a lot of time lapse between releases? Like between Deep River and Ultra Blue 4 years passed, and then 2 for Heart Station (I think?)... So maybe it'll be a while before something new I guess.

I'll be honest and say at first I found it almost exasperating that she had yet to release new material. But now I've simmered down and kept in mind that she often takes years in between new releases. I just hope 2010 will be a bright and new year for year.

Her weight changes a lot, for example during the HEART STATION/Stay Gold period, she gained a little weight and became "chubbie" (Still not fat at all, but for an artist like her I guess..), but I thought it was cute :)

IMO her weight was around the same from FOL --> HS. The horrible moment was between Exodus (NY performance) --> Be My Last......

I know this conversation is a few days back...but the person you quoted I disagree with, you I agree with. Utada just wants a successful career, I highly doubt she cares about ALL the money...maybe some of it, but not all of it. She's more concerned about getting her music PERFECT and making sure her fans will love it, which 9/10 times they usually do! If she were to breakout in the US it would be phenomenal and impressive.

I wouldn't say that she is concerned about doing music her fans like too... IMO she just releases what she feels like releasing at the moment and wait for the feedback... The money is more like a sign that she is releasing popular music than the goal... like... TITO is not meant to be pleasant to her fans, it's the way the took to say if she can produce popular music for a different market...

I don't like artists that release too much things thinking on their fans... Cuz they always play too safefor my tastes

Hey guys I haven't been here in a few weeks and I know I missed out on a lot... Is there any major update on our lovely hikki yet! :)

No, there are "rumours" (since they're not confirmed on her official website, but I think it's pretty certain) that there will be a single release of This One (Crying Like a Child) / Dirty Desire, and also a single release of On And On for "overseas", so that might either be China/Taiwan or Europe. Or even Japan / USA. depends completely from where the news came from. To be honest it's a bit blurry to me, I'm waiting for official news.. My hopes are that On And On will be an American single, and This One / Dirty Desire will be a Japanese / European single... Since America already got a ballad.
