anyway in all artistes I support , I'm mostly referring to from a music point of view , not so much on sales since it's a known fact that after albums that artiste release , it will not do as well as its debut but of course there were exceptions whom have went against this

Well not every 2nd album is bad tbh... but I really don't want alan to be in the sophomore slump - though personally she is not because for this new album she is trying out different styles.

We have a very driven ballad - Kuon no Kawa
The standard alan ballad - BALLAD
Upbeat song - Swear

While in the VoE era, everything is just ballads except Sora no Uta & BRAVE, which are just so-so for me (while for my life, it has been confirmed there is at least one jazzy song while she dances)

for my life, she already has ballads, pop and jazz. I think that's really cool, so I love her even more now. <3

LOL Wiki always amuses me with their huge analyzing. Seems like alan is already in this slump. The first 8 singles she released for "Voice of EARTH" were made of excellence, the ones that just came out for my life...No, Never again alan.

doing songs that people will buy instead of something more is a rule of nowdays recording industry - Its only chance to get popular and sometimes record companies forces artist to make songs that will make money - its not alan fault. When she get more popular she can make what she wants - like Koda Kumi did for example

I dunno, cute songs seem more...like something alan would like over the grandoise ballads she's so good at. None of her Chinese cover album song (which are all songs she likes right?) are very grand or epic like a lot of her Japanese singles, it may be that those big ballads are the kind of songs avex wants her to do, not the other way around.

I was thinking the same thing, except the song "my life" is the theme song of the video game GOD EATER. That's definitely not an upbeat video game as the background music on the site shows. So it is possible that "my life" is not necessarily referring to her life, since I'm assuming GOD EATER wouldn't use a random happy cute pop song as their theme song for a violent game about killing monsters xD.

Unless alan is secretly a goth on the inside.

But I completely agree with GRACE's idea of symphonic metal. Alan has the powerful voice that is needed for it, and symphonic metal doesn't have to even necessarily be sad. She could definitely get away with it :D.

Rock could really suit alan well up-beat or rock ballads (the RED CLIFF rock version is amazing).

She could really got in a direction similiar to ayu's styles, maybr even some trances.
It would compliment her.

i love it so much, the whole concept is so cute and so fresh, the execution and how alan act on it, is really perfect!!! The style, the hairdo, etc..is so perfect, its really match with the song too, and i think there is some symbolsym too...i love it

I just saw the PV. The song isn't her best but the PV is TERRIFIC!!! Did anyone else notice that almost the whole PV is a one-take??? (Meaning there were no cuts so everytime there was a mistake they had to start from the beginning of the very long take) VERY few artists can pull this sort of thing off and alan did it perfectly!!!

^ thats why the pv is so amazing, they actually combined 3(!!!!) one-shots to one PV, alan did the second best one-shot PV EVER IMO(the best one is "Nur ein Wort" by german band "Wir sind Helden", which is WAY more complicated even than Swear)

I like swear. I'm very glad that it's not a very slow ballad. It's good to hear a beautiful pop ballad music. I really hope we could find others song like that in her second album.
The pv is ok but I think she already did better than that. I like the end when the three alan pass each other and sit on the bench. But I think it would be cool to see one pic of the three at the end and not three pics.
