I apologize, I've got to write a mini-review for this, it's my first time being on AHS for an album release/following an Ayu album until release! Count Down: I really LOVE it. The slow, yet persistent rock... like a rock ballad. Same sort of style as criminal... the half ballad half rock song. Not BALLAD enough to put me to sleep, but just great stuff. Her vibrato is a very deep tone here, but not overused. Lady Dynamite: Picking up from where NEXT LEVEL left off... wow part electro, part rock. I actually really like it! The chorus/guitar riffs are great... It's not my favorite, but it'll definitely grow on me. I like it enough to put on repeat. :) Sexy Little Things: Upon first listen, I was thinking "oh God, what's this...?" because it was so unexpected! But it's definitely different. Electro Swing Pop is the right name for it... charming. The chorus is catchy and cute. I like it. Bottom Line: Microphone reigns Queen, but I love all four tracks so far! It has a very diverse style, but I but when I hear it all together it'll have great transitions. :yes This album is so promising... |

I think Lady Dynamite sounds like a NEXT LEVEL track, done right though. haha It's really becoming a favorite already too! It's official~ I love all the new songs except Sexy little things, which I'm still undecided on. But it's PV looks freaking great.

I think people will either love SLT or hate it because it's so weird lol. It's probably the weirdest song I've heard since Ai otsuka's "pon pon". So far I'm a lover of it though, it's so addicting.

Just to chime in on the GaGa thing (again):
It looks like GaGa-ish because GaGa has worn a lot of outfits from the same collections that Ayu has in Sexy little things. It's not a bad thing imo, but it just means that Ayu and GaGa have similar fashion tastes. (same collections/different pieces, but some are the same.) For example, the lip shaped hair and hair coats have been worn by GaGa at some point in Bad Romance and around the promotional period of Bad Romance. GaGa wore the original Gareth Pugh MEGATRON ARMS black outfit during a performance on the X Factor which Ayu has an interpretation/remake of in the Sexy little things PV. GaGa also wore outfits from McQueen's Horn of Plenty show from Fall 2009 which Ayu has outfits from in Sexy little things as well. This is not Ayu copying GaGa, but Ayu embracing English fashion that just so happens to also have been worn by GaGa. I don't know why people seem to be so defensive about GaGa comparisons being made because it's basically FACT that some of these things have been used by GaGa. It's not really that bad imo since GaGa is a pretty fierce -bleep-.... haha. |

^she had a half heart with a wing and the T+A fusion (Tomoya+Ayu), in Secret cover, the secret was the tatoo LOL becaus euntil then she always covered it with makeup, or for example, in AT 2007 you can see in M dress that just one side is covered and it's the tatoo one... until the 10th anniversary... in Talkin'2 Myself era she stil covered it.. but before GUILTY she made it a full heart, you know, like the 10th anniversary Logo... of course after she broke up with Tomoya... and now shw always shows it ^^

All Japanese CDs are usually out on Wednesday, but they come out on "Tuesday" for sales figures on Wednesday. It's weird, haha.
Tomoya got rid of his tattoo, I think, and Ayu kept hers and made it into a logo for future use, I guess. |

This album has the lyric quality of GUILTY, modern style of NEXT LEVEL, diversity of (miss)understood, personal touch of MY STORY, PV quality of Secret (i felt that the album PVs for Secret were lovely :P) lol, and i havent heard anything since Microphone's PREVIEW but at least..u guys painted it to be so amazing in my head edit: count down is sooo sad..It's as though she was counting down to becoming deaf since a long time ago.. and the word "hear" used is so ironic in a sad way |

Lately, I've... Scratch that, not lately, I've noticed from a while back (I've tried to make this line as english as possible, to capture the feeling.) The desire to rule, and the will to monopolize is strong, I know, but, Hey, didn't we hear this from so long ago? If it's sleep talk, then it's something that we say while sleeping. If we're awake, then why don't we make it into a better story where we won't yawn, However, that brave, martial story... (I don't really know how to translate into english this one.) It's wrong, but won't you shut up? I can't hear our voices. If you really want to talk under any circumstances, tell it to your mother, Boys. A story that's just right in flavor will be long, but I'm tired of those eyes staring up. The injecting voice that makes sounds of understanding have dropped 2 tones, unfortunately, Hey, didn't we hear this from long ago? Like, "it's a man's romance," or so. But, it's that's the thing that points out our thoughts that can't be put into words. However, I can only nod my head in agreement. It's wrong, but could you just move out of the way? We want to go through there. Even if our destinations are the same boys, just get going. --- I think some of these lyrics may change in the final official ones, because while they are making sense, it seems likely that the person just heard the wrong words and tried to fill some parts in.
