I think thermo plastic, LL and humarhythm are all in the different category. thermo plastic is just mix of everything, from techno to pop and acoustic, which :heart best album of J-pop ever. LOVE LIFE is more to british rock, more rock song while humarhythm is just plain pop. I have to say both LOVE LIFE 2 and TRAVELER sounds similiar, thats why I dont really like them compared to other album. They sound too laid back, and too smooth, dont really get the hyper song. LOVE CONCENT is slightly like thermo plastic, but something is missing=X

I feel like all of her albums stand alone in the fact that they all have their own sound. There is no track where you can say 'oh, this song would fit perfectly on another hitomi album'

Her sound has evolved from a more indy rock sound (deja-vu, thermo plastic) to a more electro rock, to a more straight up pop rock sound in recent albums.

I agree, I think a lot of her songs go well together, but yeah I don't think you couldn't switch songs on her albums.

The singles is a double aside with a b-side called Song for you or something like that. She's been recording the album since last year and that's about it. Not much else really happening.

What does everyone think hitomi will do after this single? I kind of hope we get one more single in May, followed by the album in July.

She said the album has been finished recorded at around December, but recently her blog mentioned about recording too :thud I'm not sure if they are putting more songs on the album or for the single after the album.

I think the strategy they are using look like LOVE LIFE2. Record all the song first, made all the photoshoot for the cover/booklet, release a single, then the album.

It would be stupid for them to repeat that strategy considering neither of them performed that well.

I think it's okay for her to release one single, but she just need to make it big :irked get perform in music station or something. She used to release 3~4 single before an album, I think the Japanese really need that 3~4 singles in order to let them have a good impression of her upcoming album. Crossing my finger for that =X
