Tetsuya Komuro is a great composer..but his work on Ayu "Love Songs" album was almost the same....but I'm waiting for his new work on Ayu's "Making Fate"...

I really love KOKIA, she's truly amazing but that's odd comparing Ayu to her.
KOKIA make songs for anime and videogames since always, Ayu's more mainstream and she made few songs for anime/videogames. But at least her music could fit very well in anime and videogames most of the times, so what's the deal? :shrug. And lol the song is not out yet, so how we can compare Making fate to KOKIA's fate?

I would love it if it were a REALLY GOOD BALLAD. No more of the crappy boring ones. I hate Virgin Road. I would love something like JEWEL, rainy day, or even Together When... It goes without saying, something along the lines of Moments would make me cry buckets of tears but I will not put that pressure on the song or let my expectations get that high.

Not that she doesn't make amazing music anymore. Kinda excited for this though! I really wouldn't mind a balladish or slow song anyhow. I just pray that if it is it's not Asian-tinged like BALLAD. Oh God...

I think this will be typical Ayu and sound like Love Songs~ I've been browsing Tales of... openings on YT (I only knew Symphonia's) a real mix of anime stuff by artists who perform lots for anime, and straight up Jpop.

Uematsu has been failing a lot imo recently, he hasn't composed anything I find memorable since FFX (not to mention that Kiss Me Goodbye is among the worst songs Angela has in her discography). Have you tried BUMP OF CHICKEN's Karma, BONNIE PINK's - Ring A Bell and BoA's Mamoritai~White Wishes~? Those are all Tales theme songs and imo they don't sound like the regular "anime" music.
