This isn't creepy:

I bet avex will do anything to have AKB appear in the a-nation DVD so sales are higher :rolleyes

I've never listened to SKE's stage songs yet, but I love all their singles so far!! They are consistent with the catchy!

The next A-side style will definitely be determined by who wins, as Iiwake fit Acchan and Hebirote fit Yuko. If Tomochin won maybe we would get a heavily autotuned dance track :laugh

I don't know about the others but I love 1!2!3!4! Yoroshiku! I was listening to that a lot hehe. Banzai Venus is okay. lol You're probably right.

Nothing huge, but there's an English article from Japan Times about AKB being at a-nation this year:

Damn... I thought it'd just be AKB48 and the two groups signed to Avex but they're going to have the WHOLE family there? Crazy. It is good timing though, most of them will have had a new single out by then.

NMB48 is going to be there too? They're really getting a lot of exposure considering they don't even have an original stage or a single yet and only one team... I hope Aki-P will have at least one new song ready for them by then. Though the performance would be good, it'd be pretty lame if they just covered an AKB48 song. :-/

dreamland2.0 26th April 2011 06:02 AM

Yah I'm really curious as to what style of songs NMB will have. I'm not really interested in them until I can here some original stuff.
AKB's style is hard to judge but I like to think their songs like Oogoe, 10nen, RIVER, Everyday are there quintessential style. Poppy and fun with a hint of nostalgia? :laugh SKE's singles all have this really energetic in your face upbeatness xD. So really curious for an original NMB song.

tokyoxjapanxfan 26th April 2011 06:14 AM

It's interesting to note that they aren't currently scheduled to be at the final a-nation concert, either. The one that's usually used for the DVD...

Just kidding. Read the dates wrong xD

Ranma Matsuri 26th April 2011 06:20 AM

For some reason, I get this vibe that NMB's 'quintessential' style is going to more like the cooler and more sensual side of AKB48. I can imagine them regularly doing songs like Skirt, Hirari; RIVER, Beginner... I dunno why, maybe it's the cheetah print. :laugh

visionfactory 26th April 2011 08:56 AM

About the a-nation thing, I just hope AKB don't eat the whole setlist in the DVD, leave some love for the others artists too!

My nightmare a-nation DVD tracklisting:
01. AKB48
02. NMB48
03. SKE48
04. SDN48
05. Tomomi Itano
06. ayumi hamasaki
07. ayumi hamasaki
08. ayumi hamasaki
09. ayumi hamasaki
10. ayumi hamasaki
11. Other artists medley :tired

OogoeDiamond 26th April 2011 11:05 AM

In most cases full concert was filmed on last day...artist who did not perform on that day have a seperate bonus perfomances on disc 2

Thanks.

As for NMB from the clips I've seen they did good with A3. They may be singing AKB songs but at least it wasn't A1 again. Party Hajimaru yo has been done enough lol. A lot of people were worried at first because A3 has the song Rider which is dedicated to a fan who passed away but it seems they've done justice to the song.

Their version of Bird is quite good. The girl who's in Takamina's place does a good job I think. It turns out her name is Sayaka (lol because that can be confusing people at S48 are calling her Sayamina because she's kind of like the Takamina of NMB I guess? XD)

Unfortunately it will be a while before they have their own stage. The the next Stage they are doing is Seishun Girls so that means K2 which now has me wondering about Blue rose.

Anyway I'm interested to see how they sound with original songs too because they seem to have potential.

Also I updated the members section in the first post. :)

OogoeDiamond 26th April 2011 01:41 PM

I wonder how will they handle Namida Uri no Shojo and Seifuku...

dreamland2.0 26th April 2011 03:22 PM

Ooo it looks great with the profile pics!!

That's the unit I wanted to see most... my NMB48 oshi centers in it and it has a bunch of other girls I like but there seems to be no sign of a LOD ever happening. ._.

I have just one thought for NMB doing K2... I NEED KEICCHI IN BLUE ROSE. That is all. :innocent

Amrai-chan 27th April 2011 03:27 AM

A LOD would be nice.

WIN. :D

dreamland2.0 27th April 2011 03:48 AM

Edit: So I have Sae and Sayaka as my computer wallpaper. My boyfriend saw and is like what's with this explain it to me please?

So I want to introduce him to AKB but he likes John Mayer and James Taylor and such. He does like some rock music.

I don't know which song to start with any ideas?

bondingo 28th April 2011 12:14 AM

OMG I LOVE IT! The dancing parts and the closeups are amazing :luv2 I can't wait to buy this single. I'm really excited to see what the b-sides sound and look like too.

adantatu2 28th April 2011 02:16 AM

Ranma Matsuri 28th April 2011 04:14 AM

Man, the song sounds better every time I hear and the PV looks fun and the girls so gorgeous... gah, I want to order this single now but unfortunately, other things must take priority so I'll have to wait. T-T

Hmm... that's pretty tough. Though male wota (from what I've encountered) tend to be straight guys with typically male interests and tastes it still could be tricky to get a regular guy into an idol group. It's hard to tell if he'll like the cooler stuff, the traditional or the genki/cute/childish/zany songs. I'd say just examine his music tastes and choose songs from there. When introducing anyone to a new artist, I always try to start with one or two of the artists most well known/loved songs and then a couple of things I know will suit the person's taste.

You say he likes rock music so show him some of your favorite K songs. For AKB48... hmmm, maybe something along the lines of Iiwake Maybe or Beginner though it sounds like he might be more impressed by their stage work. Someone else feel free to step in and be of more help. lol

dreamland2.0 28th April 2011 05:21 AM

^Haha I was right! It's because you post similiar things at the same time on here and on there xD And can I ask, is it Tomochin in your sig there? Because it looks sort of like Mariko too. I've always stared at your sig trying to figure it out :laugh

@bondingo: the b-sides are also around on youtube you can hear them. Yankee Soul is a Majisuka song again and Hito no Chikara is very laid back.
